Special Containment Procedures:SCP-8679 is to be kept inside a 3mx3mx3m concrete room which must have a illuminating object inside at all times.
Clearance to gain access to SCP-8679 is to be given only by Class B Staff or higher.
Description:SCP-8679 is a sentient Strobe light manufactured by ███████████.It measures 7 inches tall and 13 inches wide.It has a yellow paint job with a red tint,also,SCP-8679 seems to contain materials such as plastic,copper and organs.
Though not having any eyes or other means of perception,SCP-8679 is capable of vision,though it is severely limited.SCP-8679 is not capable of communication or movement.
SCP-8679 is monitored 24/7 through the means of cameras and Geiger counters.SCP-8679 preys on organisms less then 10 years of age.(Though if starving,SCP-8679 will consume organisms of any age,including immortal beings if necessary).When SCP-8679 detects its target it will begin to emit a small amount of radiation(approx 5 msv per ███).After the target is at a weaker state it starts emitting strobes of light to envelop the target into a state of hypnosis.SCP-8679 will proceed to take over the target's body.Note:It is unknown what happens to the target,though researchers currently working on SCP-8679 have speculated the target's conciseness is enslaved into SCP-8679's void which serves as it's mind.
Once SCP-8679 take's over the target's body it will proceed to capture more consciousness to feed upon,seemingly growing stronger every time.Note:When SCP-8679 takes over a body,it still retains it's abilities though it is capable of mobility and also it constantly emits radiation.
Footnote:It is possible to remove SCP-8679 from a organism by placing it's original strobe light in a five ft radiance of its current organism and then killing the organism(From a ranged distance) to which it will return to its original body,the strobe light.
