Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be kept in a standard low-value object containment vault when not in testing. During testing, SCP-XXXX-1 is to be used on a standard PC equipped with a floppy disk drive. All products of SCP-XXXX-1 shall be reviewed by the Researcher assigned to SCP-XXXX-1.1 SCP-XXXX-1 is to be kept in a medium-value object containment vault when not in testing. During testing, SCP-XXXX-1 is to used on a custom PC equipped with a floppy disk and a manual shut-off, as well as disconnected from the internet. Once testing begins, all viewer's except the D-Class must look away from SCP- shall monitor the computer that SCP-XXXX-1 inhabits. If SCP-XXXX-2 begins to show signs of State Beta, D-Class shall plug in 1 32 Giga-Byte USB and continue monitoring SCP-XXXX-2. If SCP-XXXX-2 Advances to State Gamma, SCP-XXXX-2 shall be turned off immediately using the manual shut-off. After testing is finished technicians on site shall remove SCP-XXXX-1 and check for any additional files added outside of the USB and wipe all storage regardless. Any additional files outside of USB shall be reported to the Senior Researcher currently assigned to SCP-XXXX-2.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a single floppy disk in fair condition. While SCP-XXXX appears to be a standard commercially manufactured floppy disk, closer inspection reveals that SCP-XXXX can contain 128 Gigabytes, while a standard 3½-inch double-sided high-density floppy disk can only contain 2.0 megabytes. Attempts at recreating this have proven unsuccessful, as well as attempts at recreating/copying the contents of the floppy disk. SCP-XXXX shall henceforth be referred into three parts:
SCP-XXXX-1 is the hard drive containing SCP-XXXX-2
SCP-XXXX-2 is a program that activates when plugged into a standard computer. SCP-XXXX-2's anomalous effects manifest once the computer is turned on.
SCP-XXXX-3 is the product of SCP-XXXX-2 which has a random chance of occurring when SCP-XXXX-2 is activated. SCP-XXXX-3 is an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 that has a random anomalous effect when viewed upon.2
SCP-XXXX-2's program is an entity that is semi-conscious. Upon the start of the program, the text: "Motivo Corp"3 appears above the main interface as well as a black screen with a green button. When someone clicks the button, a randomly generated inspirational quote appears, as well as a random image in the background.
