NEW DIRECTIVES IN FORCE SINCE ██ /██/11: the cell of SCP-3798 must be located at least 15m away from any other structure. Guards assigned to the surveillance of SCP-3798 are to be substitute every two (2) weeks. Guards who have terminated their mandate must undergo psychological tests concerning their mental integrity.

Description: SCP-3798 is a plant of unknown classification greatly resembling a lotus. Unlike any other plant, SCP-3798 has no leaves and apparently has no need of water or sunlight (this might explain the weird pale orange color of the stem. -Dr. Jamison Shade). Despite this SCP-3798 has an extremely intricate root network that can easily penetrate solid, not particularly dense, surfaces such as concrete and can be spread in its containment cell within four (4) hours. After further investigation, it was discovered that the roots of SCP-3798 are able to suck the blood from those they come in contact with through microscopic thorns. When SCP-3798 feeds, it blooms; its flower is composed of seven (7) black petals and it withers within ten (10) minutes (people from the staff said that after the [ DATA EXPUNGED ] of ██/██/██ the flower of SCP-3798 was golden, instead of the usual black color. Despite this, I can't find any documentation that proves it. -Dr. Jamison Shade).
