The "everbouncing" tumbleweed
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: "SCP-XXXX is not contained even being an annoying piece of trash, but if it was needed, it must be contained in a big room. It doesn't matter if the walls are made of glass or reinforced titanium. Whatever, just ignore it, if its close to you, kick it, it aint gonna kill you".
Description: Originaly from South Dakota, SCP-XXXX is a football shaped and sized tumbleweed, from the species Kali Tragus, that can't be destroyed. Its branches forms tunnels where even a slight breeze can be magnified to make it move infinitely.
If SCP-XXXX is going to hit something, the wind makes it bounce to another direction so it can keep moving.
When SCP-XXXX is grabbed, it just destroys itself and reforms in the floor just to keep going.
Addendum:
First appearance: SCP-XXXX can be seen in the 19██'2 western movie ██ ██ ███ in one of the main scenes, when the protagonist and the antagonist are having a showdown. SCP-XXXX bounces through.
"At first we were pissed off because it wasn't planned, everyone in SFX was blaming each other saying » which one off you dumbasses threw that tumbleweed« but then, when we checked it looked good, so we decided to not make the scene again" said the movie director ██ ████ ██.
Capture: We found SCP-XXXX bringing another SCP to one of our facilities. The object was pretty strange-looking in a snowy terrain. We discovered it because Dr.██ grabbed SCP-XXXX making it shatter and reform in front of his eyes. We kept it in a cardboard box, but it kept rolling inside it, making a lot of noise and movement.
When contained, we studied it for a while until Dr.████ and Dr.███ decided that it was no harm.

Item #: SCP-5393
Clearance requirement: (2) - Restricted
Disruption class: (5) Amida
Risk class: (1)Notice
Containment class: Safe
Special containment procedures: SCP-5393-A must be kept in a lead room with access to electric current if needed. The electric current should be obtained from inside the room thus meaning that a generator must be kept inside or inserted in the room every time an electric current is needed.
It is believed that SCP-5393-B remains contained as long as no electric current and phone signal is in contact with SCP-5393-A.
Prolonged exposure to any of the forms of SCP-5393 (Specially SCP-5393-B) can cause slight headache and dizziness alongside with vomits and/or slight eye discomfort.
Prolonged exposure to any of the forms of SCP-5393 (Specially SCP-5393-B) can cause slight distress, anxiety, anger, hopelessness and/or unsettling.
Description:
SCP-5393-A is a wooden structure and iron panels switchboard of five (5) meters long by one and a half (1.5) meters wide by two (2) meters tall (approximate numbers).
When connected to an electric current, a characteristic buzzing sound emanates from the switchboard along with clicking and cracking sounds.
The frontal cable board is still intact but very slightly rusty and it still contains the original cables used to connect the caller to its destinatary, it consists of 10 lines with 45 (15*3) analog audio connector jacks (female), each line has a row of 12 lights and 2 switches.
When turned off, all the 12 lights in each row stay off, and various switches stay in the off position.
When turned on, all the previous switches move to the on position and the first row of lights -by the switches- turn on. The second (2º), third (3º) and fifth (5º) lights start flickering in green while the fourth (4º) flickers in red. The rest of the lights stay on, emitting a yellow light and rarely flickering.
The cables still plugged to the board are 6,35 mm analog audio connector plugs covered in cotton cloth.
No modification or manipulation to SCP-5393-A has been made since the foundation’s findings of SCP-5393-A.
There’s no sign of modification or manipulation of the item previous to the foundation’s encounter with SCP-5393-A, except for the usage of it in the telephonic company, but there is no possibility of truly knowing.
No modification or manipulation of SCP-5393-A has been noticed after experimenting with or interviewing SCP-5393-B.
It is known to have been part of the 1920’s ██████ telephonic company that went bankrupt the ██/█/1931.
SCP-5393-B appears to be an unknown entity that physically manifests while a phone call is linked to SCP-5393-A, although it has never been seen before as it doesn't manifest while looking directly at SCP-5393-A. Other attempts of discovering SCP-5393-B’s physical manifestation appearance were declared impossible as cameras or one way glass didn't work as first thought.
Is believed that SCP-5393-B's physical manifestation doesn't change in any way when other voices are being used.
SCP-5393-B’s voice can be described as a middle aged woman with British accent that responds to the name of Martha. SCP-5393-B talks softly and calmly.
While a phone call is active, SCP-5393-B’s voice can only be heard on the phone, so no voice sounds in the real room are transmitted.
SCP-5393-B is able to change the characteristics of its voice and talking after completing the conversation (as heard or described in experiment log 1 and in interrogation logs 1, 2 and 3).
So we decided to subcategorize SCP-5393-B's known voices, those are:
SCP-5393-B; The basic form of SCP-5393-B, previously described as an English middle aged woman.
SCP-5393-B-2; A voice similar to the basic one, responds to the name Anna.
SCP-5393-B-D; We've heard little of this voice, as is not very common to call a doctor when contacting the emergency services. A voice that only responds when the caller asks for a doctor. Responds to the name of Aksava, an hindi name. Clumsy English pronunciation but impeccable manners from a middle aged hindi man.
SCP-5393-B-F; A voice that only responds when the caller asks for the firefighters. Has a rough voice but friendly tone from a young age man, American accent.
SCP-5393-B-P; A voice that only responds when the caller asks for the police. Really strong Irish accent, for the way he breathes on the phone he has obesity and responds to the name Steve, one of the less educated voices but still tries to manage the situation.
While a phone call is active, SCP-5393-B is able to interact with SCP-5393-A, emitting sounds of footsteps, switch clicking, plugging and unplugging, nail ticking, etc.
It seems that SCP-5393-B is conscious about what the caller is expressing, feeling and the difficulty of the situation the caller is in at the moment the call is made, showing consciousness.
When the phone call concludes, SCP-5393-B ceases activity.
The interrogation 2 evidence demonstrated that SCP-5393-B actually has physical form, being able to “touch and scratch” D-class personnel Miss. █████ after being asked to. This proof also intensifies our belief that SCP-5393-B is a conscious entity who is aware of its surroundings and has free will.
After experiment 1, Dr. Jackson stated that SCP-5393 (Specifically SCP-5393-A) is capable of abducting random emergency calls (i.e calls to 911) with no apparent limit.
The phone calls elapse normally, like how a normal emergency call would, but no real action is executed after reporting the emergency, meaning that the real authorities or dependencies never actually get the report to their offices. (as seen in experiment 5393-2).
**Experiment Log
Experiment 5393-1
When first obtained, Dr.█████ Jackson, Dr.█████ Taylor and Dr.█████ ████ were asked to do the first investigation with the already known facts of the item, these being that SCP-5393 worked on emergency phone calls.
Calling: Dr. Taylor
Answering: SCP-5393-B
Notes: The contact was made at 20:45:32PM, in separate rooms, SCP-5393 was not contained.
SCP-5393-B: Good afternoon. You have contacted ███████ emergency lines. How may I help you?
Dr. Taylor: Is this ███? Can I get in line with the police department?
SCP-5393-B: Yes sir. Do you need any assistance?
Dr. Taylor: I would like to call ██████’s police department, there’s a robbery happening right in front of me.
SCP-5393-B: Alright sir. Can you give me an address I can lend to ██████’s police department?
Dr. Taylor: Can’t I get connected with them directly? Like, right now.
SCP-5393-B: Of course sir. Pinning you in a second. Please, wait until they can answer.
(Some seconds pass by in silent until SCP-5393-B-P starts talking back)
SCP-5393-B-P: ██████’s police department, what can I help you with?
Dr. Taylor: Yes! I'm in ████ near ████████ street, there’s a robbery happening right now, a man with a gun and a black mask just sprinted in ██████ street direction, no one is harmed but there’s quite the commotion here.
SCP-5393-B-P: Alright, officer Williams is close to you, he’s already on the way, can you give me more details on the thief? maybe which shoes he’s wearing? Clothes and colours?
Dr. Taylor: He is tall, with a blue and white jacket, maybe black training pants, couldn't see much more, sorry officer.
SCP-5393-B-P: God damn it, its always the same, stay right there and thank you for your call.
