A sample of SCP-XXXX isolated for research
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in an isolated greenhouse within the botanical centre of Site-34. SCP-XXXX is to be watered bi-weekly and the soil it is planted in is to be changed monthly by Level 2 personnel with a background in horticulture.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be collected from the flowers of SCP-XXXX prior to watering, and is to be bottled and stored on site. Under no circumstances should SCP-XXXX-1 come into contact with SCP-XXXX's main 'trunk', baring direct orders from Site Director Fitzgerald or Senior Doctor Moseley.
Addendum: Clippings from SCP-XXXX, designated SCP-XXXX-2, when planted will grow into a second instance of SCP-XXXX, designated SCP-XXXX-3. All instances of SCP-XXXX-3 are to be destroyed on sight to prevent a potential security breach.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a collection of vines, adorned by red flowers, sprouting from a central 'trunk'. No known flora of a non-anomalous nature bears a resemblance to SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX, not counting roots, will not exceed a 4m by 4m by 4m volume of space. Should it be reduced in size SCP-XXXX will grow to refill this volume over the space of █ to ██ days.
SCP-XXXX has proven to be resistant to almost all known forms of damage short of damage inflicted by industrial power tools. An amended log of the investigations into SCP-XXXX's durability is available to assigned personnel holding a Level 2 security clearance.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX-1 is the designation given to the liquid secreted by the flowers of SCP-XXXX following successful breaching of dermal tissue. SCP-XXXX-1 has proven to be capable of causing cellular breakdown in a sample of SCP-XXXX-3 when administered to the central 'trunk'. SCP-XXXX-1 bears no other known quality, anomalous or otherwise.
