SCP - XXXX | The Tree

Item # SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe

Containment Procedures: Due to the circumstances of it being a tree, it's branches and leaves are to be trimmed by Class D personnel everyday to avoid overgrowing and/or contamination of other areas of the Site due to it's heavy amount of growing over long un-attended periods though in a containment breach scenario it is severely advised that containment chamber is sealed and all forms of entrance, this including ventilation is also sealed off to prevent SCP-XXXX from growing during the breach

Description: SCP-XXXX is an Oak Tree though upon contact the host's skin causes a growing process known as Ut cute ligno, translated from latin it is "From Skin To Wood", this process converts skin to bark in a period of four days, the bark growth slowly becomes more aggressive over the time period until all skin and internals are converted to bark and wood only 1 report of SCP-XXXX-B has been known of however it is unknown to the foundation to as how many there are overall due to upon first discovery the tree is found to have been in it's original location for over one hundred years, far longer than most trees of it's vegetation and life, theories state that the New Forest National Park, UK. was possibly created from the cause of SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-B. SCP-XXXX was later dug up and moved to Site ██ for further analysis with Class-D personnel and professional staff personnel rather than field operatives

SCP-XXXX-B is conscious oak wood in the form of a little girl, found in New Forest National Park. Upon inspection by Class D personnel the SCP is totally unaware of her being made of oak wood and believes that she is just a normal Human child, all attempts to persuade the SCP have been met with complete denial. However when talking to a female member of the site she was fully cooperative and explained herself, the report states that five years ago the "Child" and her family were on a normal walk through the area until she stumbled upon SCP-XXXX. After the incubation period somehow unknown to the family until the third day her family became alerted of the situation and called emergency services. This then being met with direct intervention with Foundation personnel. SCP-XXXX & SCP-XXXX-B are currently in Site ██ after SCP-XXXX was dug up and moved from New Forest National Park, under the cover of a "Police Investigation in the area for a suspected serial kidnapper"

After further talks with SCP-XXXX-B it is said after being fully converted however has not aged a day physically but mentally she has, further talks will be given with SCP-XXXX-B as she poses no threat to Class-D,Site Personnel or other SCPs,
