Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX though in a containment cell similar to it's original capture container, the container still remains in storage area ███ in the event that XXXX breaches containment the container must be used in a highly lit area or room and lured by Class-D Personnel to stand above the container. Upon XXXX entering the area where the container is the Class-D's shadow must immediately be lit up by some form of light whilst the container remains darkened, when this is done the crate will immediately close and the SCP will be contained.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Humanoid creature that uses shadows and darkness to move. It fades into the shadow and then wherever the shadow touches it has the ability to move to the next one, therefore making it severely hard to contain unless specific containment equipment is used and the circumstances are met, The SCP was founded in ███████ █████ during the Friday, 27th July Lunar Eclipse 2018. Reports from civilians caught in the incident report that the SCP appeared during the eclipse and began rapidly ████████ █████ with the eclipse in session the SCP had a perfect area of terrain to use for movement due to the shadow from the eclipse. The Situation was handled by the foundation and all witnesses have been dealt with.
The SCP displays very aggressive behaviour when not travelling between shadow to shadow. Showing signs of murderous intent for people trying to contain it, though it shows these signs it can become docile by providing a dark area for it to fade out from the shadow and actively move around, after tracing to the location of SCP-XXXX a containment team was dispatched with equipment to transport SCP-XXXX. However SCP-XXXX was able to use the time of day to its advantage and eliminated the containment team. Foundation Scientists had to create a specific container that creates light around a small area specifically darkened to contain XXXX
This containment operation took place during the middle of the day in ██████ █████ the operation went successfully with the death of one of the team however SCP-XXXX is now in containment inside of Site ██
SCP-XXXX's containment cell is similar to it's original container which caught it in the first place however it is now larger and gives XXXX no opportunity to escape unless ███████████ ██████ scenario ██ occurred.
During containment it is understood that XXXX has the ability to communicate using standard English, presumably learned from observations during it's travels, upon interviews from Dr. ██████ SCP-XXXX is said to "Be a hunter" and "Wanting to prove himself", this is assumed that SCP-XXXX is a member of a species unknown to the foundation, further interviews will be done however XXXX is extremely sarcastic and vague
