Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-[PENDING] is to be contained in a standard 4m x 4m x 3m habitat designed for humanoid containment at site – 112. Containment arrangements have been approved for the following:
- Standard sized mattress with bedsheets, changed once a week
- Clean clothes provided on a daily basis
- Access to lavatory facilities
- Allowed 1 hour of physical activity outside their containment cell once a week.
Due to episodes of mania and schizophrenia subject is also to be prescribed a mixture of antipsychotics and antidepressants to be taken on a regular basis, in order to mitigate episodes of mania. Sedatives may also be administered if the episode cannot be controlled from regularly prescribed medications.
- SCP-[PENDING] Is not to be allowed skin to skin contact with any form of life within Mammalia class life forms unless authorized for test procedures under level 3 security clearance.
Description:
SCP-[PENDING] is a Caucasian male 45 years of age, born 29th of February 19th, [REDACTED], of Midwestern North American nationality. Subject measures approximately 1.85 meters in height, weighing 79.68 Kg. Subject's notable appearance includes short brown hair with patches missing due to Subject ripping out its own hair, scars on right and left forearm from self-inflicted wounds, as well as a noticeable limp when putting weight on Subject's right leg. Subject states that its name is Johnathan [REDACTED].
SCP-[PENDING] was discovered following police reports of a seemingly schizophrenic man demanding patrons of an establishment to "flee for their lives" shortly before Subject left on their own accord. minutes later, the establishment was leveled to the ground due to a gas leak ignited by a lit cigarette. SCP-[PENDING] was the only survivor. Containment was uneventful as Subject was willing to cooperate with Foundation personnel under the guise that he would be "cured."
Upon skin to skin contact, SCP-[PENDING] will witness and experience the moments leading up to the death of the individual SCP-[PENDING] has encountered, as if they are said, individual. Testing has yielded that SCP-[PENDING] will experience this vision with any form of life within the Mammalia class. During the time the subject is experiencing a said vision, the subject will become disassociated from reality's flow of time and will experience between 5 minutes to 6 days prior to the moment of death leading up to the time of death. However, the subject only spends up to 5 minutes experiencing the vision.
SCP-[PENDING]'s psyche is fractured at best due to chronic exposure to the experiences of death. Subject perceives everything the victim will perceive during the vision including, smells, sounds, sight, touch, pain, and emotions.

Interview transcript: 01-575C-A
Interviewed: SCP-[PENDING]
Interviewer: Dr. Scott
Foreword: Post containment interview<Begin log: 04.15.2015>
Dr. Scott: Hello SCP-[PENDING], I am Dr. Scott
SCP-[PENDING]: Finally, a doctor… (Subject looks around nervously) Make it stop…
Dr. Scott: I will do what I can. (Dr. Scott flips through some papers) Tell me, when did you start seeing these… Visions?
SCP-[PENDING]: (Becomes agitated by the question) Just, make, them, STOP! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!
Dr. Scott: SCP-[PENDING] Please, try to restrain yourself, I cannot help you if you will not allow me to help you…
SCP-[PENDING]: (Begins sobbing) I didn't want her to die… Maybe if I didn't see her die, she wouldn't have died…
Dr. Scott: Do you believe that you seeing these visions causes someone to die?
SCP-[PENDING]: You don’t understand! (subject slams their fists on the table) Everyone dies! And it’s always because I touched them!
Dr. Scott: (off microphone) Nurse, can you bring in a sedative?
SCP-[PENDING] is administered Haldol via syringe
Dr. Scott: My apologies SCP-[PENDING], Shall we begin again?
SCP-[PENDING]: (still visibly agitated, but noticeably calmer) Yes… Sorry, w-what was the question again?
Dr. Scott: When did you first begin experiencing these visions?
SCP-[PENDING]: oh… let’s see… I believe it was 19… no, 2005 was when it first started…
Dr. Scott: I see… If you can, please tell me what a typical vision is.
SCP-[PENDING]: (Emits a heavy sigh) …It's as if I blinked, but then instead of it being me, I am who I just touched… It's like watching a movie, but you are that person, but you cannot control anything… You are just along for the ride… calling it a nightmare wouldn't even come close to properly describing it…
Dr. Scott: (writing notes down), have you been able to ascertain the time between the vision and when the events happen?
SCP-[PENDING]: it… varies… I've had visions where it happens during the vision, and other times it's been years after the vision.
Dr. Scott: Has any attempt at you intervening been successful?
SCP-[PENDING]: No… The death vision will happen no matter what. If I were to intervene, it would have been in the vision and apart of how they die. It's an assurance of death. (subject shudders a bit), the worst is when it's death of an animal… the fear they experience during death is unlike anything we can experience.
Dr. Scott: You experience the emotions as well?
SCP-[PENDING]: (nods) yes, everything you would describe as an experience, I feel during the vision.
Dr. Scott: Earlier you mentioned that "…If I didn't see her die, she wouldn't have died." Could you elaborate what you meant?
SCP-[PENDING]: … As you know everyone I touch (emits an aggravated sigh, as subject's level of frustration begins to increase) they die! How narrow minded are you!
SCP-[PENDING] lunges from its chair and grabs Dr. Scott by the hand and immediately goes into a catatonic state for approximately 52 seconds)
SCP-[PENDING]: (Begins to laugh manically) You! You don't want to know how you die! (Subject's laughter turns into sobbing, and no longer responds to any further questioning, Dr. Scott is unharmed).
