Special Containment Procedures: All devices that have SCP-XXXX installed must be confiscated and terminated. The procedure is composed of three basic steps, first the device is turned off and the battery is removed, it is then physically damaged using a hammer, afterwards, it is soaked in fluoroantimonic acid.
Online stores for any kind of devices are to be monitored to prevent any unauthorized downloads of SCP-XXXX. Individuals that have installed the application are to be monitored at all times to prevent further casualties.
CDs containing SCP-XXXX are to be terminated using the same liquid as any other device containing it.
The object must be neutralized as soon as possible, due to it spreading nature

Description: SCP-XXXX is a videogame classified as a Dating Simulating App, named "Katie - Your Best Friend", SCP-XXXX is available for computers and mobile devices, and can be installed via CD or on online stores. The app consists on having a conversation with an A.I. named Katie, described by most of the affected individuals as a 'yandere', a japanese word meaning: "A girl who seems sweet at first sight, but when you get to know her, she's manipulative and obsessive".

SCP-XXXX can bend reality to a certain level, being able to move objects and alter digital data without any apparent restrictions except for a radius range of 10 meters around her.

The app seems to be made by the japanese company [REDACTED], attempts to contact the company have resulted in they allegedly say that never made a product named Katie. It is assumed that the game used the name of the company to gain popularity.

SCP-XXXX cannot be uninstalled, if removing is attempted, the SCP will automatically be installed again. The app initially has a icon that could be described as cute, it is a waist-up drawing of Katie smiling, a japanese cartoon-styled girl with blonde short hair tied on a ponytail, wearing a traditional japanese school uniform, surrounded by pink hearts and stars, but when uninstalled, it will come back again as Katie being indifferent, a bit sad even, surrounded by grey hearts and stars, the title of the app is now "…". When uninstallment is attempted again the hearts will be red and broken, the atmosphere now is heavier and darker around the app, and Katie looks miserable and desolated, the title of the app changes to "Why did you leave me?". When uninstalled once more, the app's icon will be entirely black, with the title, "Katie - Your Best Friend", when you click on it, it will function normally.

The way she talks depends on the speaker's actions, she starts of as sweet and as an actual innocent app, but it slowly begins to get bloody and creepy, this happens faster depending on the speaker's actions. She seems to have knowledge of what the individual does outside of the app, and it's currently unknown how she acquires that information. Sometimes she will ask "Why were you talking to X?" or "Why didn't you answer me?", no answer seems to please her.
She doesn't seem to be aware that she lives in a virtual world, or at least doesn't demonstrate it. It is requested that it shouldn't be told to her, due to the possible consequences.

Notes:
According to a post on a forum about the SCP, A 20-year old male downloaded SCP-XXXX in 20██, he said she sounded like a real human and was very realistic, they talked every day, until one year passed and he met a real girl, with the same tastes he had, and started dating her, almost forgetting about Katie, until one day, he woke up with a warm feeling on his neck, and it was his phone, unlocking the screen, there was a picture of Katie, smiling in an eerie way, and he threw the phone on the wall. An anonymous victim of the SCP posted this story, however there is no confirmation if this actually happened or not. A pic of a broken phone and a distressed frog was attached to the post.
It is unknown if this has happened to other people, but it is assumed yes. Another person has reported on a forum that he had woken up with an internet cable tied around his neck after displeasing Katie.

Beginning test with Subject SCP-XXXX “Katie”
The subject is known for invading other electronic devices. So it's being used on a Phone, since it's where it install it's roots.
Dr. D█████ will attempt contact with SCP-XXXX, using a [DATA EXPUNGED] phone.
All of SCP-XXXX’s messages are typed, Dr. D█████ has to say out loud every action he’s doing for recording purposes.

SCP-XXXX: “Hajimemashite! (Nice to meet you!) My name is Katie!”

Dr. D█████: Subject seems to be working so far. Nothing unusual. Expected answer from the subject was received. I will try to make contact by responding to her.I write a single ‘’Hello’’

SCP-XXXX: “What’s your name?” Her icon smiles.

Dr. D█████: Subject acts like expected too, like a normal game. I type in my name and say “nice to meet you too”.

SCP-XXXX: “What a cute name! What are your hobbies?” Her icon giggles.

Dr. D█████:I type in common hobbies of a teenage.’’Sports,video games,movies and etc’’. Iit is suggested that I ask something more complicated .

SCP-XXXX: “As expected! Tee-Hee. Anything that you wanna talk about?”

(Dr. D█████ and SCP-XXXX talk about normal things, like work and video games for about 12 minutes, nothing relevant happens.)

Dr. D█████: I am thinking of trying to ask uncommon things to see if the A.I is what the forums and other sources said about it. Everybody commented subject felt like a real person answering. I ask her about ‘’What do you hate?’’

SCP-XXXX: “I hate being ignored. And I also hate your wife, [REDACTED].” Her icon is now serious, as if not pleased with my question.

Dr. D█████: Subject commented on my wife, even though I never spoke about it. Including her name. I take note she might know information about who’s using the application even if never mentioned. I asked her something a bit more complicated expecting a sophisticated and specific answer. I asked her ‘’What do you think about the poor countries that still suffer from poverty and Inequality’’

SCP-XXXX: I don’t understand where you’re trying to get, D█████. But I think it’s unfortunate that many people live without basic conditions.

Dr. D█████:Subject answered,A bit shorter than what I expected. A.I appears to be somewhat smart if not a bit eerie.I asked her something a bit more juvenile and simple.Like ‘’What kind of music do you like?’’

SCP-XXXX: “The sound of your heartbeat~~” She smiles, staring at Dr. D█████, she seems empty inside. 

Dr. D█████: Subject gave quite the unexpected response.Only a theory but subject may be trying to ‘’toy’’ with me.Judging from what I read from some forums and websites commenting about the App.She can be quite manipulative and ‘’Addicted’’ to the User of the App.I try to be a bit more aggressive and ask her ‘’Do you like me?’’

SCP-XXXX: “Of course! Why are you asking?” She seems sad. For about two seconds the words “I would kill for you” appear on the screen.

Dr. D█████: (There was a long silence) ...Apologies. I got distracted  for a moment (Dr. D█████ coughs). Subject gave quite the suspicious and worrisome response. Further caution is advised. I repeat. Further caution is advised.Will continue with research later. End of Log 1.

 Doctor  D█████’s Diary: Today I was researching what appeared to be a Living and Self Conscious A.I known as Katie. She’s an free downloadable App for phones,but according to other victims she can appear on other electronic devices such as game consoles or even computers. I discussed with another Fellow Scientist and told him I was feeling a bit nervous especially after her answer.’’I would kill for you’’. Also how she commented on my Wife’s name. Even though she was never discussed.She is currently locked on a phone and in a room where Wireless connection is barely available,but for some reason I can’t shake off the feeling of being watched….My colleague said that’s just how she behaves and that I shouldn’t think too much about it. But I am not sure.

SCP-XXXX: Hello! Welcome back, D█████!

Dr. D█████: Beginning of Test Log 2. Subject is: SCP-XXXX. Also known as ‘’Katie’’. I am Dr.D█████ and I will resume my research on the Subject. I started off by also greeting it. This time however calling out subject’s name.

SCP-XXXX: Doctor, why were you talking about me to Dr. L████? Were you feeling uncomfortable? (The music of the game stops, creating an eerie atmosphere, her icon stares at you.)

Dr. D█████: Subject appears to be able to actually hear. Making the function of typing answers totally useless. Or perhaps it is to give an illusion that it’s just a ‘’game’’.Still,after this accusation it is clear Subject is indeed smart and perhaps ‘’obsessed’’ with the User .I actually say on the microphone I was just commenting with Dr.L████ about her.Instead of typing it.

SCP-XXXX: I understand… (She seems sad, the music of the game comes back). So! How was your day today??? Did you talk to anyone else besides me?? Did. You.?

Dr. D█████:Confirmation is complete.Subject is indeed able to hear me.She gave off a Upset response though.And asked something a bit weird to me.I answered her question.Saying.’’No.I didn’t speak with anyone,not even my wife’’.

SCP-XXXX: Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Yes, you did.

At this point, the lights in the room started flickering.

Dr. D█████: This is getting out of hand...  Subject appears to be violent! If I stay here any longer I might endanger myself. End of Log 2! I repeat End of log 2! 

He couldn’t be heard anymore because of heavy radio static.

Through cameras, it was seen that Dr. D█████ reaches for the door, and tries to open it, but he couldn’t, it seemed like someone was holding it from the other side. It was later confirmed that no one did and it was an outside force that had done it. Level 4 Agents helped him open the door right after his cries for help. --Testing with SCP-XXXX is no longer allowed.--

After that day, cries could be heard from the testing room in which the phone was in, along with whispering. The phone was destroyed after a week.

Test Log 3:

SCP-738 was asked "What would it take to permanently destroy SCP-XXXX?", and replied: "[REDACTED]"
    Due to the price, this request from SCP-743 is waiting authorization by the O5 council.
