Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a hollow, rectangular pyramid made of limestone measuring 15 meters in height, and 8 meters in length and width. SCP-XXXX is currently located in site XX. The pyramid containing SCP-XXXX must be fully drenched in lamb's blood on a bi-weekly basis. In case of a containment breach, no fewer than 10 bells must be rung in SCP-XXXX's containment site. 15 minutes after this time, the pyramid must be rebuilt with limestone.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an approximate 6 meter tall Bipedal entity of the family Bovidae¹, as well as the subfamily of Caprinae² SCP-XXXX is covered in rough black fur, and has red bio-luminescent eyes. SCP-XXXX features 2 pairs of red horns on its head. One straight barbed pair on SCP-XXXX's forehead, while the other pair is curved, located under SCP-XXXX's ears. It is hard to measure the exact length of SCP-XXXX's horns, but the straight pair on SCP-XXXX's forehead is assumed to measure 120 centimeters in height. SCP-XXXX has been observed to demonstrate a clear understanding of human speech. SCP-XXXX is proficient in speaking Yiddish, Hebrew, Urdu, Arabic, and English. SCP-XXXX crouches with it's legs crossed and gluteal muscles on the ground in it's containment zone constantly, until awoken for an interview or [REDACTED].

When awoken, SCP-XXXX will demonstrate extremely violent behavior. SCP-XXXX will suddenly emit channeled electric energy from both of its hands while screaming roughly between 20-30 seconds. SCP-XXXX will then stand up immediately after. After the bells are rung in a containment breach involving SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX will suddenly appear sitting down in the middle of all personnel who were ringing the bells.

SCP-XXXX has been shown to be able to consume any substances given to it. SCP-XXXX has never been observed to defecate or urinate anything it consumes. SCP-XXXX will refuse to consume any other creatures of the subfamily Caprinae (SCP-XXXX will always state the following when offered a Caprin creature to eat: "I'm not a cannibal.").

SCP-XXXX has shown no blatant hostility towards humans, although it will try to persuade any human subjects to worship the entity it calls "Baphomet"³. If they decline the offer, SCP-XXXX will list reasons to join its cause, using itself as an "example of Baphomet's work", as SCP-XXXX has stated. SCP-XXXX usually never resorts to violence for convincing others, unless previously aggravated, extremely provoked, or attacked. SCP-XXXX will give up on persuasion when the subject politely declines around 9 times.

SCP-XXXX has been reported to show feelings of annoyance when interviewed by or interacting with most SCP researchers. It has only shown feelings of affection towards Dr. ██████, Dr. ████, and Dr. █████. The reasons for this are unknown, although it is suspected that SCP-XXXX has taken a liking towards Dr. █████ due to Dr. █████'s "chaotic mindset", as SCP-XXXX described. Besides these, SCP-XXXX does not have any special feelings for most human subjects, besides misunderstanding and annoyance.

SCP-XXXX's ability to channel electric energy through its hands has been studied. Constant movement and vibration of SCP-XXXX's fur will generate static electricity (how the fur starts to vibrate is unknown). The electric energy will be amplified and conducted by the moisture that starts to leak from SCP-XXXX's body (the liquid is presumed to be blood due to it's red color, however no samples of this liquid have been extracted yet ). Then, the liquid will leak on SCP-XXXX's hands. This entire process happens usually from 2-3 seconds.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered in the city of Timbuktu, in the country of Mali, in the continent of Africa by retrieval team MTF-ZULU-13. SCP-XXXX was found attempting to teach local humans in the area rituals, and persuading other local humans nearby to take part in them. SCP-XXXX was caught, berated, and attacked by most of the public except for 4 followers. All people found following SCP-XXXX were interviewed and given Class-A amnestics.

2 followers were found [REDACTED] during a ceremonial ritual directed by SCP-XXXX. During an interview with SCP-XXXX, it was revealed that the 2 followers were offered as "sacrifices" to Baphomet willingly.

ADDENDUM XXXX-01

Interview Transcript, ██/██/20██.
SCP-XXXX was interviewed by Dr. ████ after being awoken and demonstrating standard behavior. There was a microphone placed in SCP-XXXX's Containment Zone by drilling underneath the pyramid.

Dr. ███: When we found you in Mali, you were yelling about Baphomet. Can you elaborate about who this is?
SCP-XXXX: Baphomet. He is the one who will guide humanity to peace under the sun and moon, a pure society. Once the world revolves around him, all will know true peace and equality. But, it is a shame you all are too arrogant and afraid to worship him.
Dr. ███: Are you related to this Baphomet?
SCP-XXXX: I am one of his most dedicated disciples, and I was transformed into a reflection of his power with my consent.
Dr. ███: I see. What did you do after you were transformed?
SCP-XXXX: After I was transformed into who I am, he instructed me to teach others his ways as I always have tried. However, I resorted to violence, and you ended up capturing me.
Dr. ███: And why did you resort to violent methods of persuasion?
SCP-XXXX: Humans are naturally stubborn in terms of belief. In fact, so was I. It's reasonable to not worship something because of chaos that would ensue, but Baphomet will help us all! There is no need to worry. But, you all still do, for some reason.
Dr. ███: And why do you trust this entity?
SCP-XXXX: I have witnessed his power and glory. I have seen the future in his favor, the paradise that humanity could possibly reach if we all united under his rule.
Dr. ███: What would society become if he ruled this planet?
SCP-XXXX: There would still be a government; however, all nations would become one. With his power, he could simply connect them all by altering tectonic plates and uniting them as one continent. Pangaea. Then, the government of Pangaea would consist of his starting worshipers, who would help control the nation. Corporations will become part of the government if powerful enough, and will have full control of the transactions, workers, etc. If there is corruption, it is up to worshipers like me to terminate it. A true Utopia.
Dr. ███: Are there any other entities like Baphomet you know of?
SCP-XXXX: Beelzebub, spawn of vermin; Mephistopheles, unholy agent; Raum, commander of thirty legions; Asmodeus, king of lust; bla bla bla… It doesn't matter how many of them exist, all that matters is Baphomet. The only useful one out of all of them is Mephistopheles in Baphomet's opinion, from what he has said to me. They're all egotistical bargaining devils. But Baphomet is balance. Baphomet is the key. Unlike other devils, his rule will lead to a brave new world, a perfect endless utopia. But the problem is that there aren't enough people to commit the Final Ritual.
Dr. ███: What is the Final Ritual?
SCP-XXXX: (silence)
Dr. ███: If you do not tell us, we will have to resort to- (interrupted by SCP-XXXX)
SCP-XXXX: Why should I tell you anything? Out of the generosity in my mind, I have told you my purpose, my motive, and who I serve. And now you threaten me?
(SCP-XXXX suddenly falls asleep.)

ADDENDUM XXXX-02

Recently, we have found Researchers in site XX demonstrating loyalty to Baphomet. All subjects have been interviewed and have been given Class-C amnestics. All subjects have shown no recollection of worshiping or knowing about Baphomet after being given amnestics. Any personnel in site XX who are not familiar with SCP-XXXX while possessing knowledge about Baphomet must be interviewed immediately after being discovered. Any interviewed subjects that show blatant loyalty must be given Class-C amnestics or Class-A amnestics depending on the situation.

ADDENDUM XXXX-03

We have attempted to contain SCP-XXXX in an ordinary containment cell, including a metal cube with each edge measuring 15 meters, a metal pyramid measuring 15 meters in height, and 8 meters in width and length. All tests with these containment cells have failed, all ending with SCP-XXXX suddenly disappearing from it's containment cell. After these containment breaches, SCP-XXXX was found praying near a limestone obelisk in Egypt measuring 18 meters in height, 2 meters in length and width, along with the pyramid shape on the top of structure measuring 1 meter in height, length and width. SCP-XXXX was found at the same obelisk during both containment breaches. After investigation of this certain obelisk, it was discovered that it was a shrine for the entity known as "Baphomet", likely because of cultists that have been found near the area and the hieroglyphics shown on the obelisk, which consist of distorted bipedal bovids offering "gifts" to another bovid biped, bigger than all other figures shown on the obelisk.

ADDENDUM XXXX-04

Interview Transcript, ██/██/20██.
Captain ██████, former Commander of MTF retrieval team ZULU-13, was interviewed by Dr. ████ about the retrieval about the retrieval incident regarding SCP-XXXX.
(Transcript start)
Dr. ████: Can you tell us what happened in Timbuktu during your retrieval?
Capt. ██████: We wandered around in the city, looking for cultists or goatmen or whatever your researchers told us what was important. We reached a temple, which the residents called [REDACTED]. They stayed away from it due to previous incidents. There was nothing much outside, but we did hear excited, painful screams.
Dr. ████: What happened once you went inside?
Capt. ██████: We went deep inside a catacomb. We saw two men being sacrificed with a large █████ in front, leading the ritual. We heard chanting, too, from 10 people along with the sacrifices and goatman.
