Description: SCP-XXXX is a computer virus that changes all text into binary code. The virus cannot be removed by ordinary means, and is undetectable to any antivirus client installed in the infected equipment. The only way to remove the virus is to forcibly remove the equipment’s motherboard and replace it with a new one.

After a new motherboard is inserted, the now “clean” equipment is to be checked for viruses and returned back to wherever they came from. Any infected individuals are to be terminated if they are at stage 4 of the virus. Amnestics are to be given to any SCP-XXXX-As, as well as any persons that have had contact with SCP-XXXX-A. Any infected equipment is to be immediately destroyed. Any clean equipment is to only be accessible to those with Level 4 clearance.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a computer virus that changes all text into binary code. The virus cannot be removed by ordinary means, and is undetectable to any antivirus client installed in the infected equipment. The SCP has an additional anomalous property in where any individual who views the effects of SCP-XXXX on any equipment will also be infected by the virus through anomalous means (who are hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-A). It is impossible to cure an infected individual by ordinary means. Various tests on infected D-Class has shown that the virus can be cured via amnestics, though they have to be taken whenever SCP-XXXX-A starts to perceive text as binary code.

The virus goes through five stages:

1). The infected individual will start to perceive text as binary code.
2). The infected individual will begin to perceive speech as binary.
3). The infected individual will begin to understand and write in binary.
4). The infected individual will begin to speak in binary code.
5). The infected individual will have an urge to log into any equipment and infect it.
