this is my first scp article, so i might do a couple of things that people don't like or want. Please let me know if i do anything wrong.
Item: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: euclid
Special Containment Procedures: object is to be sealed in a 5 feet by 5 feet by 5 feet metal box with 3 padlocks in a 5 meter by 5 meter by 5 meter room. containment chamber is to be monitored by a security camera placed inside of the metal box at all times . if the object is seen to be missing, personnel are to report it to site security immediately. two Class-D personnel are two be put into the chamber every couple of months to supply nutrients to SCP-XXXX. in the event of a breach, SCP-XXXX is to be taken back to the containment area via mechanical arm.
Description: SCP-XXXX is, at the time of writing this, a standard chefs knife. SCP-XXXX changes form into any type of knife that is below 12 inches in length, the process of which it does this is unknown.
SCP-XXXXs blade is composed of an unknown metal, similar to stainless steel. sample testing of the metal has been unsuccessful, as the metal appears to decay as soon as it is separated from the object.
note:SCP-XXXX is also known to materialize in any area near it that can hold a knife, or in an area that matches its current form
whenever an individual places the object in their hand, hereby known as SCP-XXXX-1, the individual holding SCP-XXXX will have a compulsion to stab any organism that they can see with the object. during this time, SCP-XXXX-1 will be more resilient to any type of damage taken. if SCP-XXXX-1 succeeds in stabbing an organism, whether or not it has been killed, SCP-XXXX will appear to absorb blood and nutrients from the organism to repair itself or any wounds on the host. SCP-XXXX will use iron from the body to repair the damage to itself by converting the iron into the unknown metal on the blade and place the metal on itself to repair all blade damage. the extra nutrients that SCP-XXXX doesn't use will be distributed to the host through the handle, healing any interior or exterior wounds or damage in the process.
note:if SCP-XXXX-1 drops or removes the object from their hands, the compulsion effect to stab something will wear off
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was brought to the foundations attention when a series of murders and stabbings were taking place in the ██████ county in Connecticut. during this time, foundation agents were sent to retrieve the object causing the stabbings. during initial retrieval, [REDACTED] people and [REDACTED] foundation personnel were killed when agent-████ tried to pick up the object for retrieval.
