A Series of Notes

This is a list of possible tales I have in mind. I'm not the best at technical writing but more over, I don't have many flushed out anomalous ideas swimming around so tales might be the way to go. Hell, might even delete the other if they stay empty. Makes alot more space either way.

This is a list of possible anomalous objects. Just some rough outlines on concepts and a short description. I'll add to them later.

Existential Necromancy
DESCRIPTION: Artifact-1 is a oak coffin circa 1863 thought to originate during the American Civil War from the high amount of gunpowder residue present on it's interior. All methods to remove the residue or alter the coffin in any other way such as cleaning, cutting, burning, [REDACTED], and painting it. Several archaic symbols are drawn on the lid with white chalk. They cannot be removed.

Artifact-2 is a wax seal of unknown origin. It has confirmed to made of cast iron with an oak wood handle with brass accents. The seal matches that of the central symbol on the coffin. It like the coffin itself cannot be altered in any way yet shown.

Other than the artifacts' inability to be damaged by any known means, the objects do not display any other anomalous effects. However, when any object made of organic material is placed in the coffin with the lid closed and the seal used in tandem with any non-anomalous wax in the designated location on the lid, the artifacts' true anomalous effects will begin to manifest.

After the wax seal has been made, it will sink into the coffin's lid entirely. In all experiments, no traces of the wax were ever recovered. After the wax has been absorbed into the lid, the coffin will "lock" despite having no mechanisms to do so and an auditable clicking noise can be heard during the locking process. After the coffin locks, it will be unopen able by any means. This will last anywhere from a few seconds to several hours depending on the size and complexity of the object placed inside the coffin. After this period of time has passed, an audible click will once again be heard signaling the completion of the process. When the lid is opened, the original object will no longer be present instead being replaced with one or more organisms of which the previous object was made from, e.g. a pencil being replaced with a stick, a cube of solid graphite, and several components of organic rubber. This process is not reversible and only seems to "reanimate" the objects placed within.

Several documents were found along with the coffin. The first was a book titled, "An Introduction To Necromantic Rituals" which detailed many ways in which one may reanimate dead organisms. A second document was also found which was a personal note presumably from the previous owner of both the artifacts and the previously mentioned document.
