Special Containment Procedures
Due to the location and nature of SCP-5070, physical and conventional means of containment are currently impossible. Instead SCP-5070 should be kept under constant analysis and supervision by NASA and Foundation agents implanted in various observation stations situated around the Continental united states, Europe and Asia. It is unknown if any existing Foundation or human technology can damage or weaken SCP-5070.

Description
SCP-5070 appears to be a large “crack” or as NASA refers to it, a snake in the middle of a gas cloud. It’s current position is within the outer stretch of the Triangulum Galaxy 3million light years away from Earth. SCP-5070 was discovered on June 23rd 2010 by NASA using a highly advanced observatory station located in a house place , Texas. SCP-5070 measures at around 78km in length and is approximately 550m wide. The SCP is black in colour and has no other distinct features. It is surrounded in an emerald and yellow colour assumed to be created by the gas cloud around it.
SCP-5070 has been observed to release a high level of what is assumed to be dark matter, solar radiation and large amounts of heat indicating the use of nuclear fusion. Foundation satellites have also as of 2014 received a series of radio transmissions, emitted from SCP-5070. The meaning behind them is currently unknown however translation efforts thus far have determined that the transmission is hostile in nature. It is speculated weather SCP-5070 could be a dimensional crack however this has not been confirmed as further analysis is required which is currently impossible.

Additional notes
A further speculation is that SCP-5070 is the source of SCP-2399 On-Site Links commonly known as the Red Spot on the surface of Jupitar and is how SCP-2399 is capable of such advanced technology and comprises of such unfamiliar architecture. Its location in the Triangulum galaxy strongly supports this but it is not a proven fact. If SCP-5070 is a dimensional crack it would become an extreme hazard to all life on Earth as it’s scale could cause potentially catastrophic changeable dimensional phenomenon.
