Special Containment Procedures: Under no circumstances may SCP-XXXX come into contact with, or be in the vicinity of, any source of water. In addition, under no circumstances may any personnel be assigned tasks relating to this item unless they can comfortably and reliably swim a distance greater than two hundred (200) metres. SCP-XXXX must be kept in a hermetically sealed secure observation cube measuring a total of thirty (30) centimetres on each axis. The observation cube is to remain within a watertight containment cell with adjacent airlock at all times.
In the event that personnel become involved in the SCP-XXXX-Aqua event, they are to be isolated from all persons present. All attempts made by the subject to touch or reach out to any person(s) not involved in the event will be seen as an intent to kill said individual(s), and lethal force is authorised to prevent this from taking place.
In the event that the SCP-XXXX-Aqua event develops into the SCP-XXXX-Fontana event, all personnel within the room are to be considered casualties of said event. The room is to be sealed, and the emergency tanks of silica desiccant are to be dumped into the room. The room is to remain sealed for the duration of the event, and the site hazardous material response team is to be sent in to collect any human remains and saturated desiccant within the room, to be disposed of via incineration at a temperature of no less than four-thousand, one-hundred and thirty-six degrees kelvin (4136K).
In the event that the SCP-XXXX-Incognita event begins to occur, the subject is to be ordered to attach a GPS chipped body camera firmly to their clothing before the main stage of the event may begin. Once the main stage of the event has begun, the same protocols for the Fontana event are to be followed.
Addendum: By order of the site administrator,testing conducted on, or with use of this item is to be permanently suspended. Anyone who feels that this ban should be lifted may refer to the video files attached to this document for an explanation as to why that shall not happen.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous non-sentient artifact with the appearance of a small beach pebble comprised of Devonian-age eclogite, and roughly elliptical in shape. It is seventy-eight (78) millimetres in length, sixty-four (64) millimetres in width, and fifteen (15) millimetres in depth. The object's mass and physical attributes remain unaffected by the object's anomalous properties, however trends of abnormally elevated humidity within the object's observation cube imply that there is an active secretion of liquid or gaseous water from the surface of the object.
The story relating to the pebble has been preserved within folklore solely in the town of ████████████ within the Svalbard archipelago. The isolation of this town has hindered the spread of said story, which was explained by ██████ ████████████ during an interview with Agent ██████, who was investigating a series of drownings in the region.
