The nerve cluster
Object class: SAFE?
Description:
SCP-(?) is a nerve system resembling 6 foot tall middle built human body nerve system. Astimated to be over 90.000 miles long, streched. It has tensile strenght of a steel wire 1 inch in diameter. When teared or cut it will regenerate with 500 miles of nerves per hour if bindded with a host.
Abilities:
SCP-(?) will seek out the nerest human beeing in 800 mile radious. SCP-(?) does not need any line of sight or knowledge of the location. observations showed, that the entity can sense the electronic nerve signals of a living organism. When organic form with working nerve system, that is bigger then a golden retriver. SCP-(?) will procede to move in its direction by squezing cells trough the spaces, inbetween cells of its surroundings. Its speed is estimated at around 200 miles per hour. When the entity touches the organism it proceeds to insert itself into the body of organism and attaches to its nerve system, forming a symbiotic relationship of some sort.
If the SCP-(?) endures any damage before binding with the host the host, it will use hosts mineral and energy resources to rebuild its lost nerves. If the SCP-(?) is cut before entering the host, the host may expirience pain, which they described is like their body was cut. The location of the pain is corresponding to the part of SCP-(?), that was cut. In other instances, if the the Host is damaged it wont feel any pain, but the host feels smaller amounts of pain over longer period of time. Pain-killers are proven not working. the form of pain they experience is similar to that of a mosquito bite. It seems like the SCP-(?) overrides the hosts nerve system. our electric sensors have shown, that the pain signals can not disapear. They are only disperse and travel across the SCP-(?). The SCP-(?) fells the pain and wants to get rid of it as soon as possible.
Containment procedures:
SCP-(?) is to be kept in a glass box 40x40x40 cm. The SCP-(?) should be coiled on a electric copper sensor in a shape of a cylinder, that is set in the middle of the glas cube. Around the cube there should be emitters of electromagnetic field, that disturbes the SCP-(?) ability to detect electric signals. The container should be under camera surveilence at all times. Glass container should be checked regulary for cracks. Electromagnetic emitters should be checked every 6 weeks. While emitters are under repair the entity is to be contained in a host of a dog. (later explanation- Entity is always seeking for a human host and it preffers it over other vesels. when showed a more compatible host the entity will leave its syimbiote and proceed towards the new host. Between the new host and old one is a water pool. when the entity is in the water the water is to be shocked with electric current, which stuns the entity for 14 min. entity is to be collected and secured.)
test num. 4
The SCP-(?) was cutted 60 times and exposed to temperature of 373 Kelvins. Sensors showed great increase in electrical activity in the entity. It was overwhelmed with pain signals and drasticly started searching for a host. When the cage around the D-(?) opened the SCP-(?) binded with it without complications. In 27 seconds The host started screaming uncontrollably. Gathered from screams it appears the host felt like beeing cut and boiled alive. After 420 sec. the Host collapsed. The vital signs reached zero. Host died from pain. Soon afterwards the SCP-(?) left the corpse and started searching for a new host. We contained it. Sensors showed, that the entity still had elevated electric signals. We are continuing with the tests. Otuopsy has showed no damage to the host.
test num. 5
from the previous test we used still active SCP-(?) from the previous test. SCP-(?) was not inflicted with additional damage. When it binded with the Host the host started to cry in 27 sec. The crying has continuing for 73 min. afterwards the Host reported intense but still managable pain that slowly decreased over the next 4 hours. Afterwards the Host experienced no additional pain and the symbiote was sucesfully obtained.
