Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedure: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a quarantined area containing a bridge over a small creek. If SCP-XXXX breaches containment and interacts with civilians, class B anesthetics are to be administered. Class-D personnel are to offer currency in the form of coins to SCP-XXXX once daily. SCP-XXXX will become angered with high levels of stress if not given change daily. SCP-XXXX will only accept change from a person, rendering drones unusable. No paper currency is to remain on one's person whilst within SCP-XXXX's containment area due to SCP-XXXX's negative response to paper currency. Any attempts of SCP-XXXX leaving from under the bridge should result in immediate recapture with the use of electrical deterrence device. SCP-XXXX has the ability to teleport away from the current area, relocating to another bridge after given spare change.

Addendum 11/7/19██: No other forms of currency should be kept on one's body during testing with SCP-XXXX. See Incident Report 1117-19██-A

Description:SCP-XXXX stands hunched at around 1.82 meters tall, but when standing straight, SCP-XXXX's height is approxomately 2 meters tall. SCP-XXXX bares a humanoid appearance, and further tests have shown that DNA is spliced with multiple other species. Some species being sus (pig), canis lupus familiaris (dog), and struthio camelus (ostritch) SCP-XXXX's blood carries traces of nitric acid. A large "beard" grows from SCP-XXXX's chin, but the "hair" matches with the metals commonly used to make coins.

SCP-XXXX always can be found under some variety of bridge, with the inability to peacefully leave from under the bridge until given spare change. If SCP-XXXX is forcefully removed from under the bridge, SCP-XXXX will have high levels of stress, fear, and anger. If a person is to walk under the bridge, SCP-XXXX will ask if the person has any change. Once given spare change, SCP-XXXX will nod its head, then seemingly go to sleep. Scans have indicated that SCP-XXXX will dissolve and absorb the coins during this period of time, but the method of doing so is unknown. If denied change, the anomalous ability will activate. The victim will begin to see SCP-XXXX's face in various places, such as in a reflection of their own face, pictures of people (including themselves), and other street beggars' faces. Some reports also includen hearing SCP-XXXX's voice, even when SCP-XXXX isn't present. SCP-XXXX prefers quarters minted in 1984 and "half-face" nickles. The reason for which is unknown. Under all of the bridges SCP-XXXX stays under, a piece of cardboard is propped up outside with the words "spare change". The signs appear to spontaneously generate.
