Item #: SCP-XXXX l2.png Object Class: Safe
Level 2 Clearance Threat Level: Blue

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a waterproof safe outside of testing. No liquids should be placed inside of the safe under any circumstances; for the purposes of containment, SCP-XXXX should always be considered active. Any and all reports of anomalous events similar to SCP-XXXX's effects should be investigated, and if other instances are observed, recovered.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an oval stone made of smooth sand, approximately 7 cm in length. It is chemically inert and spectroscopically inconsistent.

While SCP-XXXX is touched by bare skin, it will enter an "active state", illuminating at 1550 lumens in varying colors. Through experimentation, it has been determined that SCP-XXXX's color corresponds primarily to a subject's emotional state.

When submerged into a container of liquid during an active state, SCP-XXXX is capable of chemically altering the liquids in question over the course of 5.8 seconds(see Testing Log), corresponding either to the color of the light emitting from the stone or the emotion of the subject.1 This happens regardless of the liquid's initial volume or composition, although transmutation is restricted to the logical volume within which it resides.

SCP-XXXX was discovered in [REDACTED], Alabama, retrieved from █████ Anderson by MTF-Epsilon 6 ("Village Idiots") following the transmutation of the [REDACTED] Park community pool into Dr. Brown-brand black cherry soda. Anderson has been unwilling or unable to explain where he retrieved the anomalous item. Amnesticization and reintegration into society is pending further review.

Instructions:
Result:

Liquid: 20-liter clear container of tap water.
Subject: D-7102
Instructions: D-7102 was instructed to hold the stone and insert it into the water.
Result: The item blinded D-7102 upon being held and was dropped. Testing procedure altered.

Liquid: 20-liter clear container of tap water.
Subject: D-7102
Instructions: D-7102 was instructed to hold SCP-XXXX, covering most of the light with his hand, and submerge it into the water.
Result: SCP-XXXX emitted a pale purple light. The liquid was altered into hot chocolate, causing D-7102 to scream and drop SCP-XXXX. D-7102 treated for minor burns.

Liquid: 20-liter clear container of tap water.
Subject: D-7102
Instructions: D-7102 was forcefully coerced into submerging SCP-XXXX.
Result: SCP-XXXX emitted a strong purple light. Water altered into aloe vera.
Notes: It looks like experiences, as well as emotions, can affect outcomes of SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects. - Junior Researcher Wruck

Liquid: 20-liter container of tap water.
Subject: D-7102
Instructions: D-7102 was instructed to focus on positive thinking.
Result: SCP-XXXX emitted a weak yellow light. The liquid inside the container transformed into grape juice. There was no pulp or other solids related to the creation of grape juice in the container.

Liquid: 20-liter clear container of grape juice.
Subject: D-7102
Instructions: Same as prior.
Result: SCP-XXXX emitted a yellow-orange light and was submerged. The liquid inside the container became sparkling wine. Approximately 11% alcohol content.
Notes: D-7102 requested permission to drink from the container. Permission denied.

Liquid: 20-liter clear container of sparkling wine.
Subject: D-7102
Instructions: D-7102 was amnesticized prior to this test, and was given minor tranquilizers to give D-7102 a neutral feeling towards testing.
Result: SCP-XXXX seemed to lack any noticeable light, and D-7102 was instructed to keep holding on to SCP-XXXX. Testing revealed the stone to be emitting ultraviolet light. D-7102 was permitted to submerge SCP-XXXX. The resulting liquid appeared to be molasses.

Liquid: 20-liter container of tap water.
Subject: D-7102
Instructions: D-7102 was instructed to focus on upsetting memories and concepts, then submerge the stone.
Result: SCP-XXXX emitted a mint-green light and was submerged. The tap water was fully converted into SCP-447.
Notes: If SCP-XXXX can replicate anomalous liquids, this could possibly make SCP-XXXX a great asset to the foundation as well as an extreme containment breach catalyst. - Dr. B██████

Burn that batch and start over with water. I'm not about to find out if burnt flesh constitutes dead bodies. - Director Agatha Drummond

Liquid: 20-liter container of tap water.
Subject: D-7102
Instructions: D-7102 was instructed to focus on experiences and concepts that caused him rage and anger.
Result: SCP-XXXX emitted a solid red light and was submerged. While at first there appeared to be no change, testing confirmed the liquid was transformed into human tears. A genetic match returned that of Researcher Smalls.

Liquid: 20-liter container of tap water.
Subject: D-1198
Instructions: Same as prior test. Performed to evaluate if different subjects, while feeling the same emotions as another test subject, would result in the same or a similar substance.
Liquid: SCP-XXXX emitted a red light, and was submerged. Liquid transformed into human blood. Genetic analysis confirmed the blood was a match for D-1198.

Liquid: 20-liter container of tap water.
Subject: D-7102
Instructions: D-7102 was instructed to focus on a concept indirectly associated with emotions. Concept chosen was "destroying a fully broken car". Notably, D-7102 was previously a mechanic.
Liquid: SCP-XXXX emitted a bright green light. Liquid transformed into liquid mint chocolate-chip ice cream. Room temperature.

Liquid: 20-liter container of tap water.
Subject: D-1198
Instructions: D-1198 was instructed to continue focusing on the same emotions and concepts as the previous test. D-7102 was unavailable to test due to preoccupation testing with SCP-4495.
Result: SCP-XXXX continued to emit a solid red light and was submerged. The liquid was converted into [DATA EXPUNGED].
Notes: Exactly the kind of containment breach I was concerned about. - Dr. B██████

Liquid: 20-liter container of [DATA EXPUNGED].
Subject: D-1198
Instructions: D-1198 dropped SCP-XXXX onto the floor of the test chamber. D-7102 was instructed to immediately submerge SCP-XXXX back in the container.
Result: SCP-XXXX swiftly altered to emitting a strong purple light. [DATA EXPUNGED] converted into urine matching the DNA samples of loxodonta africana.2 [DATA EXPUNGED] took double the average amount of time to alter than other liquids.
Notes: Cross-testing with [DATA EXPUNGED] in neutralization attempts is currently pending.

Until further notice, all testing with SCP-XXXX has been indefinitely suspended.
