Item #: SCP-XXXXObject Class: Keter |
Special Containment Procedures: Foundation web crawlers are to search for any mention of possible SCP-XXXX activity. Posts discussing SCP-XXXX are to be taken down and all affected individuals are to be apprehended for interrogation and the administration of appropriate amnestics. Instances of SCP-XXXX are to be incinerated after approval by any Personnel of Level 3/XXXX or greater.
Description: - phenomenon affecting teddies
- display real, functioning organs when ripped open
- appear to "die" after being ripped open
- then rot as expected of meat
- leaves involved parties (children) traumatised
SCP-XXXX describes a phenomenon where teddy bears spontaneously develop internal organs anatomically identical to Ursus arctos (brown bear). Despite this, SCP-XXXX instances lack sentience or locomotion.
As long as SCP-XXXX's outer fabric is not damaged, the organs are preserved indefinitely, and touching an instance displays no anomalous properties. Upon damage, however, the interior displays organs, bleeding, damaged bones, and other signs of physical trauma.
Upon being exposed to the environment, the organs will decay at a normal rate, and do not display any other anomalous traits. However, the damaging of SCP-XXXX instances usually leads to those nearby experiencing emotional trauma.
