Special Containment procedures: SCP-9874 is to be contained in a 15ft by 15ft cube made of Steel. Only 2 security guards may guard SCP-9874's containment cell, only increasing in size when a research team is on-site. if SCP-9874 escapes containment, it is to be neutralized by using a an ultrasonic emitter. Under No Circumstances should SCP-9874 be touched, see incident report dated 1973/23/12

Research team led by Dr. Adam leeward is cleared to test SCP-9874.
One D-class is given the basic surveillance equipment(camera, audio recorder, pen, and paper), and will be followed by a remote drone.

Dr. Adam: D-82532 please approach SCP-9874.
D-82532: If you say so.
D-82532 approaches SCP-9874 while keeping the camera focused on it.
Dr. Adam: What do you see D-82532?
D-82532: I see a figure sitting in a chair facing the wall.
Dr. Adam can confirm what D-82532 is seeing.
Dr. Adam: We can confirm that, anything else? What about the room?
D-82532:(D-82532 Pauses.) It's not moving at all, I don't think its even breathing. The chair seems to be a really dark red.
Dr. Adam: Good, Now we ask you to walk around to the front of SCP-9874. Do take your time we don't know what it does.
D-82532 slowly makes his way to the other side.
D-82532: It doesn't seem to have any eyes or a mouth.
Dr. Adam: What else do you see, D-82532?
D-82532: There's a really quiet sound coming from it. Man, I don't like this when the fuck are you going to let me leave?
Dr. Adam: Soon, were going to need you to touch it.
D-82532: Hell no you can't get me to touch it!
Dr. Adam: This will go faster with your cooperation, we wouldn't want to force you to.
D-82532: Fine, but I want a better cell and more free time.
Dr. Adam: I'm sure something can be arranged.
D-82532 is seen to touch SCP-9874.
Dr. Adam Well? What does it feel like?
D-82532 It's goopy, like slime. It's on my hand and won't come off.
A sound of fear and pain resonates from D-82532
D-82532 Help! Help! It burns!
Dr. Adam: What's happening to your hand? Describe it.
More screams of pain, and an audible hum coming from the SCP-9874
Dr. Adam: (Sternly) What is happening to your hand?
D-82532 No, please! (He sticks his arms out in front of him, as to block a hit or stab of some sort. Nothing is happening around him though, SCP-9874 is still in it’s seat, unmoving.)
Dr. Adam (Yelling) What is going on in there? Get him out!
In the background, loud clunking sound can be heard, as if a door is opening
D-82532 (Slurring his words, as if having a broken jaw) Please! Stop! No-!
The body of D-82532 goes limp before the guards could get to him.
SCP-9874 can be seen moving back to its chair through the guards body cameras.

Dr. Adam The recording starts with D-82532 walking into and around the cell.
The same scene repeats, showing him walking around, making observations, then eventually touching the slime-like being. When he touches it, SCP-9874 seems to quickly jump from the chair to D-82532 latching onto his hand, creating a malice looking texture. That’s when it happened, he recoiled, yelling that it was burning him, yet further inspection showed no such signs of that, but a small hole in his wrist leading directly into his veins. There was an electric pattern going up his arm, but fading below the elbow. A post-mortem CAT scan showed that the D-Class inmate had suffered from an aneurysm. Moving on with the footage, when the inmate was on the ground, from the camera’s point of view. He seems to have his arms up in a defensive manner, yet there is nothing there. Maybe it’s a psychological attack? Maybe, but further research is, undeniably, required for SCP-9874. Dr. Adam signing off

Description: SCP-9874 is a humanoid slime-like being, able to hurt whoever touches it without the subject seeing it move. It is approximately 160cm tall and is apnoroximately108 kilograms. The chair it sits on is approximately half its height. It does not seem to move to the subject but through camera recording, it is seen to move incredibly fast. SCP-9874's chair is made of a steel-granite combination and can be held and moved, it's new classification is SCP-9874-A, also SCP-9874 seems to only affect organic matter but not synthetic or non-organic matter, see test logs 1 and 2.

Dr. Adam’s notes
MTF Epsilon 6 (“Village Idiots”) were sent to do a base, research test.
14:03 This new SCP we’ve arrived at is surrounded by bodies, all in different states of decay. The appearance seems to be humanoid, and also seems to be sitting down in what looks to be a chair. Local cops from ]Yorkshire, England reported that a series of murders had happened near this statue. We have yet to discover what power it holds, so we will use utmost caution when approaching it. The truck we have brought here should most definitely work, seeing as whatever power it holds only works on humans, and maybe animals. Further testing will be needed. The truck we brought has a robotic arm that should secure this new SCP and make it safe for transport.
