SCP-5514. The Fort Raleigh Theater Located at Fort Raleigh National Historical Site, Manteo, NC

Special Containment Procedures: The Fort Raleigh National Historical Site is to still be open to the public. SCP Foundation Personnel with the cooperation of the U.S. National Park Service operate and protect the location. Trespassers after hours are to be detained and administered Class A amnesics and to be sent on their way. SCP Foundation Personnel are keep a close eye on the theater and the original Fort Raleigh location for instances of SCP-5514-1. If SCP-5514-1 are to be spotted any non-foundation personnel are to be evacuated to an on island Outpost and administered Class A amnesics and sent home. MTF Unit Omega 8 Code-Named "The Lost Colonists" are to try to contain the SCP-5514-1 instance, and transport it to a more secure location. The Play The Lost Colony is to be shown every night from May 29th to August 21st. What happens if we fail to do so is currently unknown. After Incident-5514-A A new set of Containment Procedures have been drawn up.
The Location of SCP-5514 sits on is now code named "Marsh's Light" is now under Foundation Control. All Civilians have evacuated. The public thinks the recent hurricane damaged of the island is beyond repair and is now inhabitable. All 3 bridges leading to the island are now either destroyed or blockaded by Foundation Personnel. NO OUTSIDE PERSONNEL IS ALLOWED TO ENTER. Foundation Personnel are to keep a close watch of the site. The affected area of SCP-XXXX now consists of the entire Island. Foundation Personnel are to patrol the affected area and report any trespassers and prevent SCP-5514-1 entity's from leaving the island. Foundation Personnel are to contact MTF Unit Omega-8 "The Lost Colonists" if there are any problems with the SCP-5514-1 entity's.
Location of SCP-XXXX codenamed "Marsh's Light".
Description: SCP-5514 is The Fort Raleigh National Historical Site. The location dates itself all the way back to 1585 with the Founding of the first English Colony of Roanoke Island. The First site of the colony was considered a failure. In 1587 the colony was reestablished. In 1587 the Governor of the colony left back to England for a resupply mission after being delayed due to the Anglo-Spanish War. He returned to the colony in 1590 to find it completely abandoned with the words Croatian carved into a tree, another tree was found with the carvings of CRO. Around 110 to 121 colonists went missing. The location of the lost colonists are still unknown some theorize they went to the Indian tribe of Croatian or were massacred. The Theater was build in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps and Federal Theatre Project. It was completed in 1937. The theater was build next to the ancient Fort Raleigh the location of the Original Colony. The existence of SCP-5514 was brought to the Foundations attention in 2007 by local authorities and the park service after a mysterious fire destroyed half of the theater. Later reports show a mysterious man dressed in late 1500s era english clothes setting fire to the theater praying for a few minutes then to be seen by local police forces screeching and sprinting at them then vanishing. This figure will now be named SCP-5514-1. SCP-5514-1 what is believed to be the ghosts of the colonists that went missing in 1890. SCP-5514-1 are considered hostile. SCP-5514-1 purpose seems to damage the theater and the surrounding area. SCP-5514-1 can't leave the affected site. Firearms don't effect SCP-5514-1. After Incident 5514-A SCP-5514-1 entity's are no longer hostile to Foundation Personnel. SCP-5514-1 entity's are welcoming to Foundation Personnel, they even cooperate with research teams, and allowed a new outpost to be build on the other side of the island.

Foreword: Interview with Deputy ████. Deputy ████ was the first person to respond to the fires. Today hes going to explain what he saw walking in and the conflict that followed.

Dr.██████: Deputy ████ can you explain to us what happened September, ██, 2007.
Deputy ████: Yes yes I can. Im still a little shaken up about it. It was a normal run of the mill night. Wrote a few tickets and relaxed in my car. When a call came over the radio that The Lost Colony was on fire. I speed over and walked in to the stage on burning. There was a man on the stage on his knees praying. I draw my service pistol and walk up slowly as the fire department arrives. At this point i'm around 50 feet from him. He was wearing old English clothes and was ghost-like.
Dr.██████: What do you mean ghost-like
Deputy ████: Like he was white as snow and he didn't look human at least not anymore. I told him to show me his hands. That's when I got a look of his face. Its were eyes red. It then screeched at me and started running at me. I emptied my clip into the thing. When he was almost on top of me I closed my eyes and accepted death. After a few seconds I opened my eyes to nothing he was just gone.
Dr.██████: So he just vanished?
Deputy ████: Yes I started to look around me to figure out what happened to just see the firefighters just stunned in shock.
Dr.██████: Do you know the names of these firefighters?
Deputy ████: Yea I do. Its ███████ and ████
Deputy ████: Anything else you want us to know about your confrontation?
Deputy ████: Yea what the hell was that thing? I heard that place was haunted but I didn't believe any of those stories. Did y'all find it?
Dr.██████: I' m sorry Deputy I can answer those questions. Thanks for being cooperative. Security will escort you out momentarily.<End Log, [13:30]>
Closing Statement: Deputy ████ provided us useful information pertaining to the anomalous properties of SCP-5514. Deputy ████ was then given Class A amnesics and released.

Night of August 18th 2015
Our team showed up around 15 minutes after the activation of SCP-5514. 2 thirds of our team was containing the civilian population on the island for evac. We immediately engaged SCP-5514-1 entity's, after subduing the entity's is when the magic shit happened. The entire area around us transformed. into what I expect to be the colony. Then the storm just stopped. The SCP-5514-1 stopped attacking foundation personnel. They seemed happy. Like everything they ever wanted was just fulfilled.
On August 18th the show started 30 minutes later than it should due to a missing actor, about an hour into the show the wind speeds increasing at an alarming rate. It started pouring as cloud in-golfed the sky. SCP-5514-1 entity's started to appear beside the actors and in the play's seating. The SCP-5514-1 entity's did not attack fleeing civilians but attacked foundation and park service personnel, MTF Unit Omega-8 "The Lost Colonists" were called in. When MTF Unit Omega-8 arrived on scene the clouds parted above the original fort location. All infrastructure and landscape was transformed to what records show the land to appear in the late 1500s. SCP Foundation researchers believe this was the return of the lost colony. After the return of the colony the storm stopped. The believe the play starting late and it being the 425th year since John White returned to find the colony abandoned was the cause of the incident. The affected area of SCP-5514 is now the entirety of Roanoke Island. SCP-5514-1 entity's still roam the island. SCP-5514-1 entity's are no longer hostile to Foundation Personnel. All Civilian's were given Class-A amnestics and evacuated,
