rules: no air travel, no teleportation or ways, no time travel; other than that, pretty much anything goes ("we'll know it when we see it" approach to cheating)

original Cannonball Run was New York to LA; maybe that route, maybe Portland to Portland (organized by someone in 3Ports), maybe something absolutely ridiculous like alaska to florida?

gotta have some Wacky Races-type sabotage shenanigans obviously. probably also gotta watch out for The Cops (UIU more than Foundation)
