Special Containment Procedures

Due to its high visibility and size, SCP-XXXX is to be contained in situ. Provisional Site-42 has been built directly into the base of SCP-XXXX, disguised as a gift shop. The HVAC air blowers throughout SCP-XXXX have been fitted with direct feed dispersal units for Class A general amnestics, which will continuously circulate throughout the building.

Security personnel must undergo Class A amnestic inoculation before being assigned at P. Site-42, where they will be disguised as tour guides or general janitorial staff.

Additionally, Foundation entity Rontok.aic has been tasked to locate and discredit any online mention of SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties. It will also begin maintaining the idea that SCP-XXXX and its surrounding area are a poor to mediocre tourist destination via manufactured social media posts & destination reviews.

Description

SCP-XXXX

SCP-XXXX is the Space Needle, an observation tower located in Seattle, Washington. It was originally constructed for the 1962 World's Fair, and was designed and financed by the Pentagram Corporation, a group of five local businessmen: Bagley Wright, Howard S. Wright, John Graham, Ned Skinner, and Norton Clapp. This corporation was a front for GoI-616, "PENTAGRAM", the occult branch of the United States Department of Defense; GoI-616 intended SCP-XXXX to be a major part of the United States' occult defenses, and inserted various occult and paratechnological elements into its design and construction. Its current anomalous properties, which manifested shortly after it was opened to the public in 1962, are believed to be due to a failure of some or all of these components.

SCP-XXXX's design documentation¹ indicates that it was intended to function as an anomalous early-warning system,
