-The detected instance of SCP-XXXX will be terminated.
If there is not an MTF nearby
-The subject will be transported to Site 39 and interrogated.
Once done so, it will be up to the Site Director's discretion if it should be terminated or
ontained.
Containment Procedures :
· The subject will be kept in a claustrophobically small room (1m x 1.8m)
· The subject will be pumped with adrenaline and caffeine
· The room the subject is kept on will have drips in the ceiling
A new Mobile Task Force (MTF Phi 6 - Blind Eyes) was created strictly for the termination of SCP-XXXX instances.

Description :
SCP-XXXX is an infection that can affect anyone. Although it only manifests in people that lost their sight at some point in their life.
When an infected person falls asleep and enters the REM Sleep State their dreams will materialize.
This is visible while the subject is asleep and dreaming because the subject's eyes will not only be moving in REM fashion, but also be coated in a blue liquid.
The anomalous properties vary depending on how severe the lost of sight is, four stages have been currently discovered.
-Category N/ : If the subject is infected but has full vision. The anomaly doesn't manifest in Category ∅ instances, but they do spread the infection.
-Category A : If the subject has lost sight, but not fully, the things it materializes will be made of the blue substance coating
the subject's eyes. The materialization will not be consistent, but rather will occur randomly during REM sleep.
·Entities created by Category A instances of SCP-XXXX are known as SCP-XXXX-α
-Category B : If the subject has completely lost it's sight whatever it materializes will be made of the blue substance coating it's eyes,
but the process will occur during all of REM state instead of at random intervals.
·Entities created by Category B instances of SCP-XXXX are known as SCP-XXXX-β
-Category C : If the subject's eyes have been fully ripped out of their sockets it will materialize whatever it sees in it's dream right as
it sees it. It will occur during all of REM state.
·Entities created by Category C instances of SCP-XXXX are known as SCP-XXXX-γ
Scranton Reality Anchors have proven able to deal with SCP-XXXX-α and β entities, but have no apparent effect against γ instances.
Addendum 1 :
This anomaly was discovered in 1927 after [DATA EXPUNGED]'s wife reported seeing strange shadows at night and hearing loud footsteps coming from the room next to her.
After a police investigation, the Foundation decided to get involved.
Everyone who worked the case, and [DATA EXPUNGED]'s wife were given amnestics.
[DATA EXPUNGED], now known as SCP-XXXX-1, was contained in a Humanoid Cell.
In his first night in captivity, SCP-XXXX-1-B's cell filled with shadows, just like his wife said to the police.
The researchers noted down the phenomenon, and continued observing the subject. The next day, a D-Class Personnel was sent into the room. When the D-Class got back to the control room it claimed to have seen strange entities in the room with SCP-XXXX-1
and claimed his lifeless eyes were covered in a deep blue slimy substance.
After this incident, researchers slowly developed containment procedures such as the foretold ones.
Addendum 2 :
After further research and more instances of SCP-XXXX occurring the research team discovered the SCP's effect and how it spread.
The Overseers saw use in this anomaly, and, against the Ethics Committee's approval started a procedure to create a new containment procedure for SCP-[05 CLEARANCE REQUIRED].
This procedure involved completely amnesticising four sedated D-Class, known as D-XXXX-Containment, and ripping their eyes off.
Once that was finished, 05-1 personally took care of the rest of the procedure, leaving the D-Class' bodies laying atop a steel plinth bordering SCP-[05 CLEARANCE REQUIRED]'s chamer.
SCP-[05 CLEARANCE REQUIRED]'s containment procedures changed to constantly feeding the D-Class images of a tall steel wall.
The inner workings of this containment are prohibited to anyone under 05 clearance.
**Addendum 3** :
In a crosstest with SCP-610, XXXX has been proven able to cure this disease, and, therefore, is thought able to cure almost any disease. During the crosstesting, a SCP-XXXX-C specimen was brought to the SCP-610 containment zone, where it was told is daughter, who had been infected
with a deadly cancer, was waiting. It was told to go to sleep thinking of how to cure the cancer.
Against the researchers' expectations, the lie actually worked. And an instance of SCP-610 was managed to be cured.
The 610 instance was later brought in for interrogation. The researchers didn't manage to get any testimony or new information, as it said it only recalled a near-death encounter and then nothing.
It was later given amnestics and freed.
Since then, SCP-XXXX has been used to cure any important person in the foundation infected with deadly cancer or similar disease if no other means are available.
