Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is contained at Site-204. SCP-#### is to be contained in a 100m x 125m x 110m cell. The walls are to be composed of 3m thick concrete. There is to be a blast-proof door to prevent SCP-#### from breaching containment through the door. Entrance to SCP-####'s cell is to be limited to Level 4 and above Personnel. These rules may be waived during Protocol Arachane, exclusively to MTF-Phi-17. In the event of a containment breach, MTF-Phi-17 is to intercept and disable with flamethrowers.
SCP-####'s cell is to remain closely monitored to prevent a containment breach. For this purpose, cameras are to be installed around the perimeter of the room. If these cameras get covered, MTF-Phi-17 is Authorized to begin Protocol Arachne. Any changes in behavior is to be reported to Site-204's Site Director. SCP-#### is to be fed one live cow every two days, to prevent aggravation.
Description: SCP-#### is an arachnid of unknown species approximately 10m in length from head to end of thorax. It is very agile, and is capable of reaching about 36km/h within about 7 seconds. SCP-#### has been found to be male, because it has the characteristic enlarged and rounded pedipalps.1 SCP-#### seems to be extremely aggressive and excessively brutal when attacking, using its front legs to tear apart prey, and using its chelicerae2 to crush prey.
Protocol Arachane is held when there is a containment breach, or when there are webs produced by SCP-#### all around the containment cell. MTF-Phi-17 is to report to the scenario and set the temperature to above 200 degrees Celsius after all personnel has been confirmed to be evacuated, to paralyze SCP-#### for a short while. Depending on the situation, SCP-#### is to be taken back to the containment cell, or the webs are to be collected and put into a container. MTF-Phi-17 is to leave the scene as soon as possible before SCP-#### becomes active once again, to prevent fatalities.
The webs produced by SCP-#### have been found to be resistant to fire. These webs are to be made into fireproof clothing, to be used by personnel dealing with fire-based SCPs, to prevent injuries or death. SCP-#### is only known to be damaged by extreme heat. (See Testing Log ####)
