Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4151 is to be assigned to a new junior researcher every month, and placed in a small containment locker at site 19. All testing must be done with this researcher present due to its anomalous properties.

Description: SCP-4151 is a █████████ brand steel ruler that possess only metric markings. SCP-4151's anomalous properties manifest when used by its owner to measure any concept wherein the answer can be expressed in a positive integer. the owner is notated as whoever was permitted to own SCP-4151 by the previous owner. When attempts are made to measure any concept, the answer is intuitively known by its owner, however, all answers are expressed in centimeters. SCP-4151 cannot be used to harm any individual. any attempts to do so will cause SCP-4151 to cease all visible movement for approximately 30 seconds, after which it will invariably move into its pocket dimension. SCP-4151's pocket dimension can only be accessed by its owner through anything that the owner would consider to be a pocket.¹

Addendum: SCP-4151 was recovered at ██/██ in the ████████ middle school in the desk drawer of A██████ H█████, who reported confiscating the item as a result of two (2) students in the class reportedly using the item to cheat on a recent test. The students when interviewed were unable to recall any information about SCP-4151's origins. Both students and the teacher were given class-A amnestics.

Procedure: Dr. Lee attempts to harm D-56728 with SCP-4151
Results: SCP-4151 ceases all visible movement, then disappears. SCP-4151 was later found to be within Dr. lee's pocket, despite space not being capable of holding an object of this size
Analysis: it appears that SCP-4151 is incapable of inflicting harm

Test B - 6/15

Subject: D-10998
Procedure: D-10998 is told to measure the side length of a 1-meter cube
Results: D-10998 reports that the cube has a side length of 100 cm.
note: it's a good baseline, let's move on to something more difficult

Test C - 6/15

Subject: D-10998
Procedure: D-10998 is told to measure how ripe the provided apple is
Results: D-10998 reports that the apple is 103 cm.
analysis: D-10998 did not find the results of his measurement to be strange. perhaps there is a knowledge of what this information means that is given to its owner.

Test D - 7/15

Subject: D-29464
Procedure: D-29464 is scheduled to be terminated three (3) minutes after the conclusion of the test. D-29464 is told to measure the amount of time left until their termination.
Results: D-29464 reports measuring a length of 243 cm. and remarks that the recorded length is "shorter than I thought."
Analysis: Subjects seem to have the context required to understand their measurements, further tests are required to discover if there is a conversion rate for these measurements.

Test E - 8/15

Subject: D-21114
Procedure: D-21114 is instructed to measure the amount of time in between an object being introduced and the object being removed (measured to be one minute)
Results: D-21114 reports measuring a length of 81 cm.
Analysis: The conversion rate for minutes seems to be 81 cm. = 1 min. approval is pending to formulate a full table of conversion rates
