Angosin: Here is the original post copy pasted- The idea I'm having is this halfway house is it's own pocket dimension that seemingly connects simultaneously to our world and an unknown number of other worlds. What sets it at least a little apart is how it effects individuals who enter. Upon entering subjects bodies are split down the middle, one half in our dimension and the other in the pocket dimension. They feel no effect and notice nothing out of the normal about themselves, but if with another or they meet another individual they see what has happened. Split between dimensions leaves all of there internal organs and skeletal structure visible, leaving them to appear as though cut in half. Because of the nature of the facility humans from other dimensions can be met, but so to can monsters.

Angosin: And here is a rough description of what it physically looks like as well as what it's physical Anomalous properties are- The Halfway House
Location: The In-Between/ The Divide
Description: A facility in the appearance of an old Psychiatric Hospital adrift in The Divide. The outside is in complete disrepair, with holes in the roof and walls along with most windows being broken. Together with this traditional damage the building is broken into multiple large pieces, (eight in total), that drift together in a cluster.
Anomalous Properties:
The building simultaneously exists within the divide and an unknown number of alternate dimensions including our own.
The only way to enter the actual facility is through the front entrance, and the only way to exit back into your own dimension is back through it (entering by any other means simply brings you inside the building that exists in our plane).
There is a back entrance, but instead of exiting into your own dimension it opens out into The Divide itself.
Once you have entered the facility you cannot leave for a full two weeks.
All other openings including windows and holes in the walls/ ceilings are sealed with strange black tendrils only visible from the inside. And any windows that don’t exist on the exterior show into the void, while ones that are on the exterior show into your respective dimension.
The inside of the facility is bigger than what the outside would suggest, and the eight split portions while visible as being such from windows and other openings are not seen inside of the facility, (as when you are standing at where they are split you are seen from a window as standing at an edge about to fall off, but from your point of view the section is whole and you can continue walking).
The rooms inside of the building change at random while not being observed, and even move location without anyone within being able to tell it has happened.
