Drdromeus And Lostvision

Here it is!

Got anything to say? Say it here! Obviously you can message me, but I’ll also be checking this sandbox frequently for updates.

Dr. D: Alright, no more procrastinating! Here some major points on the clone draft-some new, some old. You tell me what you like and what you want to change/remove.
  • Cloning Ability: one thing we definitely want to establish is what it means to make something the opposite of something else. Definitely a place to explore in the test logs. When it copies objects, are those opposite too?
  • Chest Orb: Maybe can tie in somehow? Or do you just want to remove it? Idk
  • Evil Version: It does make sense that there would be a clone of the original. Maybe that’s the one that keeps trying to escape? Should he/she (could be female) have the same abilities?
  • 1st Interview Log: I feel like it really doesn’t go anywhere. I like that he gets pissed when the D-class are killed, it’s an interesting interaction to the Foundation’s coldness. Besides that…he likes twins, doesn’t know where he came from, and doesn’t know how his abilities work. We can either explore or drop these avenues.
  • Containment Breach: Still unsure if I want this or not. As it stands, I don’t think it adds much. If somehow SCP-XXXX-2 had some interesting ability or if there was some other clever twist, then I’d like it. I’m still thinking about it myself.
  • 2nd Interview Log: I like that XXXX-2 is “evil,” but also sides with the Foundation. Once again, it’s an interesting comparison. I still think there could be more of a justification for everything going on here though.
  • 2nd Interviewer Notes: I don’t like this. Killing an anomaly for no reason, as well as the lack of tone really just throws off the whole piece. I’d just cut this part.
  • Placement: I feel that the test logs come late enough to not be interesting. We could probably end it off with a second interview log. The test logs can be put earlier, perhaps before the addenda?
  • Test Logs: First off, let’s definitely ditch the “white person becomes a black guy” thing. Race is a bit too complicated for simple opposites. We could definitely expand on the test logs more as well: explain differences in personality, difference in objects, and physical differences (if we can figure a system for that). I also think there’s some real interesting potential to show the mental state of these clones: how would they feel just being born? Not just that, but also that they’re just mirror images of another person? Could be something.

Anyways, tell me what you like and dislike, and anything else you can think of.

LostVision: Alright! The orb thing can go away if you want to. I was just trying to make the article longer. The race thing can go away too. The test logs were just a desperate attempt to prevent deletion from the main scp website. I can imagine a way that we can study their psychological way that changes in their clones. Maybe a clone goes crazy with the idea that he is just a clone of someone? Also, I was thinking the objects would be the same as the original, but maybe those could be changed too.

As you can see, I've made some changes and added some more skips. Hope you like. The last one I won't take full credit; I was working with a friend on that one!
