Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Piss licker
Special Containment Procedures:
Description: SCP-XXXX is a meta-spatial plane-alteration anomaly that resides within an apartment complex at [1373 West 80th Street] in Cleveland, Ohio. Run under the name of "Good House Apartments" , the outside appears as a 6 story, brick face mid-rise apartment building with 72 total rooms. The room count is split down the middle on all floors by a hallway, with the half of the rooms facing the building's rear sporting aluminum balconies. As of [REDACTED], there are [66] tenants residing in the "Good House Apartments" complex.
SCP-XXXX's predominant anomalous trait is that it's interior appears and partially functions as a 3-dimensional space, yet is in actuality a 2-dimensional space. The Y and Z axis's have been linked together, however, a change in scale when moving along the Z axis allows for 3-dimension movement. Basic experimentation has proven that SCP-XXXX's inner structure is fundamentally 2-dimensional (see document XXXX).
Any physical entity (persons objects or creatures) legally owned by Good House Apartments is considered an instance of SCP-XXXX-1. While outside of SCP-XXXX instances appear to be normal. However, when brought into the interior of the building, SCP-XXXX-1 instances will become 2-dimensional and take on a simplistic cartoon like visual appearance. SCP-XXXX-1 instances are commonly referred to a sprites by research staff due to their simplistic 2-dimensional appearance.
When removed from SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 instances will revert to their 3-dimensional form. Any physical entity that is not legally owned by Good House Apartments can enter SCP-XXXX and without being subject to physical of visual changes.
Save for any objects that might directly effect one's plane of movement (walls, stairs, etc.), all objects that legally belong to Good House Apartments appear as 2-Dimensional renditions of themselves, identical in size and weight but with notably decreased "resolution." These items also appear to be slightly more stylized than they appear outside the anomaly, as if they were an artist's rendition of the base object. Due to this strange artistic touch, along with the "pixelated" appearance of the entities, researchers have hence begun referring to material samples from the complex as "sprites." If an entity is not legally a property of Good House Apartments, then it will appear in its full three dimensional state when within the building. It should be noted that if any object is removed from within the SCP-XXXX's interior, it will instantly revert to appearing as a 3D object, whether it is property of the complex or not.
SCP-XXXXX-1 refers to any person, object or creature that manifests in a cartoon style while inside of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 entities will exist in a 3 dimensional form while outside of SCP-XXXX and transform into a 2 dimensional cartoon inside of SCP-XXXX. Any object, creature or person that does not meet the requirements to become an SCP-XXXX-1 instance will maintain its 3 dimension form while inside of SCP-XXXX.
