Fucking Disqualified Ideas

Cimmerian:

I had a thought a while back which was supposed to be a stronger introduction for my Journeymen GOI. Essentially the core of it is a K-class prevention Council with permanent members from the GOC, Foundation, MC&D, CI, and SH. They all can sponsor temporary members as well (and in my story MC&D would be sponsoring The Journeymen for their expertise).

In the tale I've been kicking around, an individual from the Alexylva University dimension has been "banished" to our dimension. He's been here for a few years and runs a Roman themed casino out of Atlantic City. This guy has been bound to our dimension permanently but desperately wants to go home, and he finds a loophole in the magic. If he can merge the dimensions together, he can go back (giving us the brand new K-class to play with).

The tale(and it was originally planned as a three part series) would follow my Jman character as his identity is exposed to the foundation (He is literally Doc Holliday but immortal) and he needs to get protection or lay low for a while else he'll end up in containment, and MC&D does him a favor of sponsoring his membership on the council.

Members of the K-Class council are basically ignored by the other GOIs, and Mr. Holliday's expertise as part of a group of criminals and thieves is going to be used to help plan and execute a heist on the casino to either steal or destroy the artifacts the banished guy has assembled to merge the dimensions.

That's about what I have, anyway. Obviously GOI documents are easy enough to come by in this setup, as are the SCPs (which would be easy to set up as any of the anomalous artifacts or people involved in the story could be contained afterwards). And I'd be handling the tale(s) at a minimum.

A Random Day:

CC-Class “Red Scare” scenario - basically the United States funded a bunch of doomsday devices to blow the planet to kingdom come if communism actually won, so the foundation’s containment procedures would be to A) promote bourgeois imperialism and capitalism and B) try desperately to defuse these ticking time bombs

LN-Class "Third Impact" scenario - the details of the scenario are kept a secret, but the premise is inspired by psul's recent 3001-EX:
8:28 PM <•ARD> Right now, the primary hook behind 3001-EX is that the moon is literally a giant fake and the Foundation is /ok/ with it.
8:28 PM <•ARD> I'd like to expand on that hook some more, take cues from CASE COLD HARPER and possibly drag this into The Coldest War
8:29 PM <•ARD> Three parties working together to maintain the moon facade: the United States, Russia, and the Foundation
8:30 PM <•ARD> In all cases, the /reason/ that they're maintaining this facade should remain hidden. Furthermore, it might even make sense for each party to provide a different /implication/ of what's being hidden
•ARD> I'm still sketching in the details but as far as a framework goes I think this is a good one. Expanding around the Noodle Incident while still leaving the core as a tantalizing mystery
8:56 PM <•ARD> and if anything, making it even MORE mysterious
•ARD> Have you read planetary
9:04 PM <•ARD> [In the comic the Americans and Soviets] have /two separate space races/
9:04 PM → Conwell joined (ten.tsacmoc.ap.1dsh.B5BCB892-CRInys|tibbiM#ten.tsacmoc.ap.1dsh.B5BCB892-CRInys|tibbiM)
9:04 PM <•ARD> That’s the kicker
9:05 PM <•ARD> What if the Secret Space Race was the highest echelons of government racing to secure the moon
9:05 PM <•ARD> So that the Public Space Race could happen
9:05 PM <•ARD> Apollo, meet Helios
9:06 PM <Hippo> like on one hand what I enjoy about the idea is that you have absolutely no idea what the hell happened, just that the Foundation did it, and somehow *forgot* they did it, but then rediscovered they did it and for some reason this makes *absolute sense* to them. But
9:06 PM <•ARD> The article would basically be the Foundation digging into the American and Soviet secret archives to figure out what THEY were hiding
9:06 PM <Hippo> there is definitely a story in the idea of "the moon is hollow" and "the space race was a cover for the race inside the moon"
9:07 PM <•ARD> And then finding out and being like “yeah this is fine”
