Basic Ideas

• Proposal: Every February 30th, there is some kind of "theme" I suppose. One could be that women all over the planet instantly get pregnant and birth lovecraftian monsters.
• At the end of every February 30th, everything anomalous thing that happens disappears, but there is lingering memories of happening.
• we work it into pop culture. lovecraftian blueskinned monsters becomes the idea for that one Avatar movie no one remembers
• big bad monster could disappear at the end, but a photograph could stay.
• We could take the amnestics approach and at the end of it all, Foundation personnel have to drug most of the population.The only problem with that being is that they may not have the resources to get every single person. So they'd go with a disinformation campaign sort of deal.
• Key theme behind this work is related to the Mandela Effect and confusing the audience.
• The Foundation can airdrop Class-A Amnestics, but they won't be able to get every single person, leaving some people with the conspiracy theories to wildly speculate about the things they experienced.
• The Common Public has no concrete memories of the events of February 30th existing, it's a dreamlike memory for them.

Description:: february 30th occurs on every leap year, and it's basically this super mega dream where the world changes. it changes really drastically and with no common pattern to the effects, like once all electronic screens just started saying 'oh nelson mandela is dead', and another time babies became lovecraftian cthulhu monsters. the important thing about this, is after february 30th 23:59, everything gets reverted. people don't remember what happened, mainly just sparse ideas. it's like a dream, almost. (idea: people with different blood types remember things differently). everything comes back to normal, except sometimes the anomaly misses something, because the foundation just gets lucky like that sometimes.

it was discovered because fuckin APPARENTLY one fine march 1st some ungodly number of babies became eldritch horrors???. foundation kicked in, handled everything, marked it as an extranormal event. and then another march 1st on a leap year, people kept thinking nelson mandela was dead, and then this kind of pattern kept going until the foundation reailzed it all happened on march 1st, on leap years, experimented a bit with mnestics - mnestics work, thank god - and babam they remember february 30th.

a small gripe is that any evidence of the happenings on february 30th gets wiped so the foundation has to use some special quantum computers?? (idk just bullshit technobabble here) that arent affected by february 30th through the power of fucking science

and that's it. weird shit happens on february 30th and nobody notices.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the 367th day of all Gregorian leap years, occurring as the 30th day of February. SCP-XXXX, time-wise, is identical to a non-anomalous day, lasting for 24 hours. There is currently no societal evidence that February 30th exists, often speculated amongst others as having either never occurred or as a dreamlike sequence. (Cole Note: I think this first paragraph works but it's a bit strange to type it out.)
(hypno note: why is it the 367th day of the gregorian leap year though? that implies like, its december 32nd. sholdnt it be the 61st day?)

Event: Event SCP-XXXX-A

Information pieced together by the Foundation after gathering hints and leftover effects caused by Event-A.

Description: People spontaneously grew taller, surpassing the global average height by at least 5cm and at most 20cm. Skin turned blue and everyone appeared to become very thin, almost malnourished. This was true even for people that had been categorized as obese, though the opposite was true as well. People with anorexia that were too thin suddenly gained weight to be more like the others. The cornea if the eyes turned turquoise and the retina and pupil turned a light green, with the possible mutation of being able to see in the dark. Children up to age of 12 had darker blue skin, and from ages 13 to 18 it was noted that the skin lightened. What has made the Foundation be so curious about this first event is that not only did it affect the sick and terminally ill, but it actually healed them, leading the Foundation to think that there is definitely things that can be learned from this.
