Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be contained within standard humanoid containment cells, interaction with instances must be done in such a way that exposure to the virus is near-impossible. Any newly discovered instances are to be detained immediately to deter further spread of the disease, an active watch is to be supplied around the initial infection grounds to be on constant lookout for any new instances.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a disease affecting antimemetic perception, any individual infected by the disease quickly expresses the abilities of antimemetic cloaking and antimemetic perception.
Stage 1 symptoms are usually expressed within 4-5 hours post-infection, starting with a failure for other individuals to notice them clearly unless it is made clear that they are there or attention is brought to them. If there are antimemetic entities in the vicinity the victim will also begin to perceive them as well.
After approximately 12 hours Stage 2 symptoms of the disease manifest, making the infected a living anti-meme. Henceforth reclassified as SCP-XXXX-2, known capabilities at this stage include, full antimemetic cloaking and abilities similar to that of what mnestics grant. The Subject also gains the ability to control their abilities, however they do not receive knowledge as to how.
However, after around a month almost all subjects will enter stage 3-A and experience symptoms similar to the aftereffects of class-z mnestics. Likely due to the effect of perception of antimemetic entities being improved upon by the virus until the point that it reaches the level of class z mnestics, invariably causing the expiry of the victim.
Out of a large number of victims a small number will experience Stage 3-B symptoms instead. Any victim experiencing this stage starts to infect and mutate at a much larger rate. As time passes this rate exponentially grows, it is unknown what occurs after this stage, as it was judged that testing it may result in a containment breach.
In one such instance, the virus mutated to pass through the containment cell walls (see Addendum XXXX.3) and infected one of the researchers outside. As a result all instances are to be terminated before this stage.
If the victim has experience in the memetic or antimemetic fields the expression of symptoms may potentially be accelerated by up to 3 hours. Due to previous interactions and exposure to the aforementioned fields.
Addendum XXXX.1: Discovery
This disease was first noticed on ██/██/████ when reports of mysterious disappearances in ██████, █████████ were noted. After investigation caused foundation operatives themselves to disappear further investigation was launched. the existence of the disease was soon after discovered by Researcher ██████.
After this discovery was made, many of the infected were discovered, many of them dead due to the effects of the virus. the remaining instances of SCP-XXXX-2 were gathered up and put into containment for research and hopeful containment of the virus.

Dr. ███: Hello Alex, I'm here to ask you a few questions, now i'm sure your aware of your apparent inability to interact with others and i would like to ask you the process in which that occurred.SCP-XXXX-2: Huh, well thats… I guess it would have started with the fading? then it would've expanded out to just straight up vanishing. i'm.. not really sure what you want from me.
Dr. ███: First let's focus on that. what do you mean by the fading?
SCP-XXXX-2: Well… It was sort of like people started to not notice me. it was… weird… it was like i became a side character in a TV show or something. Even my family started to forget i was there… Thats probably the best answer i could give you. i'm… not really sure what exactly happened or how.
Dr. ███: That's perfectly fine. Thank you for the answers. Now can you tell me about the vanishing you mentioned?
SCP-XXXX-2: Oh, that. well sure but i don't think there is much to say about it. I basically just vanished, simple as that, i even tested it.
Dr. ███: Tested it how exactly?
SCP-XXXX-2: Oh simple, i spent a whole day yelling at people in their faces, the ones that did respond apparently had a similar thing as me going on, really weird.
Dr. ███: Okay then, final question. Do you feel as if you have changed in any way since the 'vanishing'?
SCP-XXXX-2: Uh, don't think so? How am i supposed to know something like that?
Dr. ███: (sigh) Well That's all for today. Maybe we can have a followup later.

Addendum XXXX.2: Interviews
Addendum XXXX.3: Incident Report
On ██/██/████, Dr. ███ while going to another routine interview with an SCP-XXXX-2 instance was exposed to the Virus, this was not discovered until hours afterwards when Dr. ███ was not discovered on site.
Through investigation it was discovered that Dr. ███ was still in the site and had in the process infected more personnel with the virus. based on the threat a containment breach infecting the whole site would cause, Mobile Task Force Operatives were called in.
Thanks to quick co-operation and fast action, The original Instance that caused the outbreak was terminated and all remaining instances were successfully contained before a full site infection occured. These instances were later used for testing specific antimemetic effects that the Instances possessed.
