Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-J is to be contained in an off-site, maximum security container sealed via cement. Any sentient organism in which fluently speaks English that comes within a 50 meter radius of SCP-XXXX-J is to be administered Class A anesthetics and guided away from the area. All personnel, when asked of an unfamiliar Joe, are instructed not to respond to said inquirer.

Description: SCP-XXXX-J appears to be a non-anomalous simple, standard, sheet of paper recovered from an elementary school in the year ████ that simply reads "Do you know Joe?". Despite this, when any sentient organism that fluently speaks English comes within a 50 meter radius of SCP-XXXX-J, they hear the words "Do you know Joe?" repeating until they finally respond in a questioning format that contains the words "Joe". After which they respond, they hear the words "Joe Mama!". Those exposed to SCP-XXXX-J then become an instance of SCP-XXXX-J-1, in which they suffer severe psychological trauma. It is most common that they cope with this trauma via asking the nearest sentient being "Do you know Joe?" repeating, until they too become an instance of SCP-XXXX-J-1. If an instance of SCP-XXXX-J-1 chooses not to cope with their trauma, they will subsequently commit suicide by any means necessary. Administration of Class A anesthetics will revert the psychological trauma of those exposed to SCP-XXXX-J, can then be considered neutralized, and guided back to their place of origin.
