Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently contained in a delicate object containment chamber at Site-36. The cell should be monitored from 02:00 - 04:00 every night. Unauthorized personnel may not enter during this time.

Update 22/4/2021

Personnel that do not have a Fragile Objects Handling License (FOHL) are forbidden from direct interaction with SCP-XXXX. All FOHLs are to be renewed twice per year in order to continue working with SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a fiberglass statue depicting four humanoid figures. The figures superficially resemble the concept of a "nuclear family"¹. Between the hours of 02:00 and 04:00, the statue resembling a young child, henceforth designated SCP-XXXX-1, will become animate and attempt to interact with the other statues. So far, the 22/4/2021 incident is the only time SCP-XXXX-1 has successfully elicited a reaction from another statue. The other statues have not exhibited anomalous properties proceeding or succeeding this incident.

SCP-XXXX rests on a stone podium in Town, United States. The podium has a copper sign on it, however the original message has been obstructed by an unknown substance, rendering it illegible. A new message is present, written in spray paint, reading; "The Family - NEGLECT."

On 22/4/2021, the boy animated as normal, and attempted to wake up the man and woman again. While doing so, it discovered and utilized a pen that had been left on the floor. During this, SCP-XXXX-1 accidentally ripped off the mans left index finger. This caused the statue of the man, who has now been designated SCP-XXXX-2, to animate. At this point, the young boy showed signs of experiencing happiness, emitting a high pitched squeal. This activity lasted until the now reanimated man picked up the boy and emitted a low pitch bellow for 4 minutes. After this, the man put the boy back down and returned to its previous position. The boy proceeded to remain animated for another 24 hours, continuously crying while emitting the same high pitched squeak, before returning to it's original position at 03:05 the next day. The boy has continued to attempt to wake its parents, but has not been successful.

02:55: Motion sensors in the room activate at the standard type, as SCP-XXXX-1 animates then proceeds to attempt to wake up it's parents. It follows it's routine behavior and and attempted methods.

02:57: SCP-XXX-1 discovers a screwdriver in the North East corner of the cell, that is believed to have been left during a routine cell maintenance.

02:58:** SCP-XXXX-1 starts to stab the man and woman, continuing to attempt to wake them up.

03:00: SCP-XXXX-1 appears to damage and snap off one of the mans fingers, who then animates and "awakens". It is now designated SCP-XXXX-2. The child actively shows signs experiencing happiness, emitting a high pitched squeal.
