Special Containment Procedures: SCP-MECH is unable to be contained. SCP-MECH-1 instances are to establish an armed perimeter, with Foundation presence to be maintained as local vendors “[Name idea]” (See Data Log XXXX). If an occurance of SCP-MECH-1 enters an active state, it must be communicated with in attempts to ascertain its apparent “goal.” After said operations have been completed, local Foundation personnel are to be redirected in the assistance of SCP-MECH-1 instances.
Description: SCP-MECH is the change from inanimacy to sentience of certain structures around the Earth. SCP-MECH activates when the recognized structures, hereafter referred to as SCP-MECH-1, are within 5 kilometres of a geothaumaturgic cavity, otherwise known as leylines. SCP-MECH is known as the catalyst for SCP-MECH-1 instances, in which the structure begins to display sentience and sapience. SCP-MECH-1 instances will display a memory of history from the date of their creation onwards, suggesting that the leylines and SCP-MECH designation awakens, or renders SCP-MECH-1 instances capable of speech. Research into whether SCP-MECH-1 instances were sentient beforehand is currently underway. All sapient SCP-MECH-1 instances mention an entity known as "Ahmar-min-w'ara," whose arrival will signal a XK-Class "Ley Rend" event's beginning.

| -4 "Taj Mahal" | No facial features. Gains flight capabilities, and when in flight, appears similar to a D. plumarius flower. Is incapable of speech, but instead speaks through Morse code by the opening and closing of its dome. |
| -5 "Christ The Redeemer" | Is fully capable of movement, and talks and walks as a normal human would. Claims to have memory of the real Jesus Christ, and is able to expel streams of gamma radiation from its hands. |
