Keter

Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-FEAR-1 must be brought immediately to Site-YY. Upon arriving, SCP-FEAR-1 will be processed in a machine-automated manner to individual 3mX2mX2m containment cells. Specimens are not to interact with one another in any case (See Testing Log XXXXX). SCP-FEAR-1 are provided with all that average Homo sapiens require for survival.

Blood is to be taken routinely from all personnel of the Foundation and tested in a lab for C21H30O5 levels. If results conclude that the subject is infected by SCP-FEAR, it is designated SCP-FEAR-1 and contained as stated above.

SCP-FEAR-A is not to be contacted (See Incident Report:XXXXXXXX)

Description: SCP-FEAR is the classification of a disease with the potential to afflict all Foundation Personnel1, though it shows prominence in D-Class personnel assigned to testing involving various keter anomalies and Mobile Task Force agents exposed to cognitohazards, infohazards, and all classes of reality-bending entities. Short-term symptoms of SCP-FEAR include tachycardia, excess expulsion of water from the pores, hyperventilation, sudden changes in behavior, fever, insomnia, and [REDACTED].

SCP-FEAR-A is the designation of Doctor ██████. SCP-FEAR-A experiences higher levels of SCP-FEAR since containment and is prone to sudden outbursts in which it may breach its own containment as well as the containment of other SCP-FEAR-1 entities (see Incident Report: XXXXXXX).

Discovery: The first incident of SCP-FEAR was reported by [REDACTED] at Site-XX while reviewing chemical analysis of D-XXXXXX blood found after the breach of SCP-████. Blood had an abnormally high level of C21H30O5, later confirmed by [REDACTED] to be impossible in naturally-occurring humans. D-XXXXXX is labeled “Patient Zero” of SCP-FEAR infections. Further blood testing on Foundation personnel proved that approximately 30% of the D-Class population, 5% of the Mobile Task Force population, .05% of the researcher population, and .7% of the guard population have become instances of SCP-FEAR-1.
