Picture of SCP-XXXX in [REDACTED].
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be located in a secure storage container within Site-138. All testing on SCP-XXXX is strictly forbidden except with direct authorization from the O5 Council.
Following the events described in Addendum 1
Description: SCP-XXXX is a seemingly regular stuffed brown teddy bear. However, object will portray a distressed unhappy demeanor if it does not receive contact from a human (presumably of a pubescent age) every 24 hours.
Attached to the bear is a red heart shaped pin which prominently displays the phrase "I love to read" on it. The pin is located in the middle of the bear's torso and was seemingly added by PoI-5999 following a "Reading Day" at her school.
Recovery: The discovery of SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties happened on 7 February 2008 during a "Mother's Day" visit to Site-██ by O5-█'s 10-year-old daughter, ████ █████ ██████ (herein designated "PoI-5999". Among Site-██'s many security protocols, potential entrants are required to forfeit all items currently in possession to a designated member of [REDACTED] stationed at its entrance. These items are generally held in an off-site location for a period of at least 48 hours regardless of the duration of visit.
