Official Assets
Archive Designation: SCP-105
Name: Iris Thompson
Capabilities: Anomalous ability to remote view and directly manipulate items through photographs. Fine control currently limited to a specific camera labeled SCP-105-B. Completed standard MTF training. Reasonably capable combatant despite disadvantage from small physical size. Extensive recent field experience (largely low-level missions). Incomplete assassin training (permanently suspended). Excellent (non-anomalous) recall. Currently in process of enhancing anomalous abilities.
Profile: Subject is the only anomalous survivor of Omega-7. Once a flight risk, now assessed as loyal to the Foundation, likely due to a combination of Stockholm Syndrome and deep-seated feelings of guilt. Subject seems to blame self for not being available to interfere with SCP-076-2's destruction of Area 25 (and concurrent killing of all surviving members of Omega-7 considered friends by SCP-105), due to sequestering after her containment breach. Subject expresses hatred of Omega-7 and SCP-076-2, and has minor bias against anomalies that she is unfamiliar with. Strong friendly feelings towards SCP-073.
Subject has a strong moral framework and resentment of her containment by the Foundation, both of which represent possible future risks. As subject is considered the prime representative of Alpha-9, encouraging her continued loyalty and cooperation is paramount. Subject should continue to be given field missions in which she will play a pivotal role in the survival of the field team (and potentially also civilians). Identity as a Mobile Task Force member (and leader) is to be encouraged.
Notes: None
Director Light's Eyes Only: Is 105 really the only official Alpha-9 member approved for field missions? I know Omega-7 was mostly Able, but come on now, this is dull. The Council could still revoke this task force at any time if the winds start blowing the wrong way. This has taken way too long. Light, push past the bureaucrats and get some more anomalies on this team ASAP. —O5-7
Unofficial Assets
Archive Designation: Asset Samekh
Name: Special Agent A. Adams
Capabilities: See training files.
Profile: Agent Adams is currently assigned to MTF Lambda-2 ("Who's On First?"), and is being overseen by A. Clef and K. Crow. Psychological profile currently not accessible from this document.
Notes: Agent Adams is currently being made available as an asset to Alpha-9 for Tier 3+ combat missions only.
Archive Designation: Anomalous Humanoid L452D1430
Name: Aleksander Foxx
Capabilities: Standard capabilites of MC&D "Huntsman" program. Highly combat-effective, extremely difficult to kill.
Profile: High arrogance, desire for action, easily bored. Not recommended for vital field missions due to loyalty to MC&D; security protocols must be carefully followed at all times. Values family (1 daughter). Should be utilized as an asset for highly dangerous missions to satisfy desire for risk-taking. Potential conflict with SCP-105 due to superficial personality similarities to SCP-076-2.
Notes: Available as a Foundation asset due to deal brokered with Marshall, Carter, & Dark. Currently in use for highly dangerous covert ops missions where Foundation involvement must be plausibly deniable. Valuable source for anomalous tech analysis.
Additionally in use as asset for MTF Lambda-2 ("What's On Second") per A. Clef.
Status currently pending per Article 44.
Archive Designation: SCP-2913
Name: "Han"
Capabilities: Severed hand capable of independent movement. Reasonably capable in combat & infiltration situations, due to small size and quick thinking ability.
Profile: Human-equivalent mind. Cooperative personality. Relative innocence, despite comfort with causing fatalities in self-defense. Does not carry self-defense farther than protecting own life (tolerated abusive behavior from containment research, but defended self during containment breach). Strong concern with protecting others and preventing wrongs (see origin).
Notes: Official addition to Alpha-9 approved pending further psychological analysis and training. Successfully executed test missions.
Director Light's Eyes Only: I'm not adding a talking severed hand to the team until we have more official members who are serious threats. If the dossier leaks like that (and it will leak), we'll be a laughingstock. —O5-7
Archive Designation: SCP-073
Name: Cain
Profile: Friendly, cooperative, reserved. Claims dedication to Foundation mission with little/no prompting. Psychological differences from baseline human creates difficulties in assessment. Considers SCP-105 a friend.
Capabilities: Cannot be harmed. Any action taken to harm subject takes effect on the attacker instead. Extremely efficient photographic memory. Touch destroys plant life. Cannot easily be used in most field situations, as presence causes soil to become barren.
Notes: Has agreed to assist Alpha-9 in missions primarily in an advisory and debriefing capacity.
Director Light's Eyes Only: Cain? Now that's more like it. Someone talk him into going on field missions, please. Somehow. Maybe I'll have to fly down there myself. —O5-7
Archive Designation: Kain Pathos Crow
Name: Professor █████ ████████
Capabilities: Specialist in biochemistry and robotics. Basic combat training as mech pilot.
Profile: Easy-going, highly loyal to the Foundation. Before involvement in Alpha-9, demoralized and isolated due to canine physiological issues and lack of engaging projects. Emotional state still potential cause for concern.
Notes: Has tentatively agreed to develop and pilot mech suits for Alpha-9 field mission use.
Director Light's Eyes Only: Crow needs engagement, so let's engage him. Convince him to join Alpha-9, if you can. He was always extremely well-liked and respected despite his anomalous transformation. It'll be good for PR, so long as you ensure he does not die. —O5-7
Archive Designation: SCP-2099
Name: Jeremy Valdez
Capabilities: Reality bender. Extensive scientific knowledge. Able to create many potentially useful pieces of anomalous equipment. Severe physiological limitations due to being, colloquially, a "brain in a jar".
Profile: Extremely intelligent. Cooperative and friendly, but possesses no loyalty to the Foundation whatsoever. Would likely be just as compliant if possessed by any other organization.
Notes: Currently assigned to Professor Crow for anomalous asset development. Particularly ideal asset when paired with Dr. Everett Mann.
Director Light's Eyes Only: Keep this one quarantined with Mann. Make sure Crow knows what he is. —O5-7

Administration
Director Sophia Light: Current Director of Alpha-9. Recently transferred from Site Director duties. Profile indicates that she is blunt, determined, calculating. Good under pressure. Has made efforts to behave in a friendly and open manner, though personnel continue to report being frightened of her. Combination considered ideal for director position.
No comment. —Director Light.
Professor Kain Pathos Crow: Head of Research & Development for Alpha-9. Permission granted for anomalous asset development. Also potential field asset (see Roster entry). Profile indicates emotional state improved by working on Alpha-9.
Director Jean Aktus: Head of Additional Resources for Alpha-9. Anomalous research. Profile indicates exceptional loyalty to Foundation. Currently on long-term medical leave.
Director Tilda Moose: Head Consultant for Alpha-9. Research focus on end-of-the-world and restructuring scenarios. Also serves as connection to Mobile Task Force Sigma-9 ("Bibliographers"). Former association with the Serpent's Hand. Profile indicates recalcitrance on subjects related to Alpha-9. Type Blue.
Director Light's Eyes Only: Don't use as a field asset — thanks to the Bibliographers, we've got plenty more field-appropriate magicians if it comes to that. If Moose irritates you, send Lament to talk to them. —O5-7
Director Light's Eyes Only: Disregard the previous note. We'll send you an update per Article 44. —O5-7
Director Jack Bright: Permanently synonymous with SCP-963-1. Head Personnel Director for Alpha-9. Profile indicates exceptional loyalty to Foundation. Primary responsibility for non-anomalous assets.
Director Light's Eyes Only: Listen to everything Jack says, but don't do everything he tells you. Make sure everyone else knows this too. —O5-7
Director Shirley Gillepsie: Associate Director for Alpha-9. Specializes in non-humanoid Safe/Euclid anomalies. Represents some "old guard" Foundation perspectives. Currently on mandatory leave per Article 44.
Director Jonathan Nardieu: Associate Director for Alpha-9. Profile indicates excess enthusiasm for anomalies. Reassigned to Alpha-9 by request. Requires strong leadership.
Director Marcia Cortez: Associate Director for Alpha-9. Brought in as a skeptical outside perspective. Well-connected within Foundation hierarchy. Currently on mandatory leave per Article 44.

STATUS: APPROVED / HOLD / DECLINED
Archive Designation: SCP-076-2
Name: Able
Capabilities: Significant physical abilities. Difficult to kill. Impossible to permanently kill. Can materialize bladed weapons of unknown origin.
Profile: Earlier assessed as part of Omega-7; see file SCP-076-2. New evaluation only indicates higher level of danger and higher level of uncertainty.
Notes: See Special Report by Dr. Aeslinger.
Director Light's Eyes Only: Every psychological analysis we've ever gotten on Subject Able has been serving one master or another. Keep this in mind. You know why. —O5-7
STATUS: DECLINED
Archive Designation: SCP-1985
Name: Jacqueline Johnson
Capabilities: When killed, undergoes trans-universal teleportation and returns to life. Upon teleportation, transforms into an altered state with high combat capability, damage resistance, resistance to anomalous effects, and other enhancements. Effectively unkillable in the field. Extensive combat, infiltration and survival training.
Teleportation is typically limited to targeting Earth-based realities undergoing an end-of-the-world or restructuring scenario; however, a technique has been developed allowing SCP-1985's altered state to be achieved on Earth, raising possibility of use for Alpha-9 missions.
Profile: Originates from an alternate timeline. Personally loyal to SCP Foundation for numerous reasons, including personal affection for handlers, and being previously saved from terminal cancer as part of her anomalous transformation program. However, carries resentment for perceived cruelty of prior experimentation by Foundation personnel from current timeline who initially recovered her. Loyalty is not as absolute as it should be, and analysis indicates that being forced to work with handlers that subject perceives as cruel or immoral will likely result in loyalty decay. Subject a risk of containment breach in this case. Care must be taken to avoid this circumstance.
Notes: Foundation can disable subject completely at any time using a special classified method (to be used only in extreme circumstances, as this may permanently damage or destroy subject).
Officially protesting Alpha-9 candidacy of SCP-1985. 1985 is a vital research device on potential end-of-the-world scenarios, and ultimately not more effective than Agent Adams in field situations (while killing her is non-permanent, it will still remove her from any fight). There is no task more important than 1985's current research for the future survival of the Foundation. We have effectively infinite combat field assets, and very few effective ways to directly research end-of-the-world scenarios. — Director Moose.
Director Light's Eyes Only: Ignore Moose. Their obsession with end-of-the-world scenarios is useful, except when it gets in our way. I suspect they're also bothered about their pet project getting transferred without it being their idea. I'll send someone to talk to them.
We have our own methods of esoteric information-gathering. We'll split 1985's time between research and Alpha-9. She's a perfect candidate. Both effective and extremely dramatic to watch, just like Agent Adams. More anomalies like this, please. —O5-7
STATUS: APPROVED
Archive Designation: Pending
Name: Jerry Doe
Capabilities: Subject has shown immunity to several anomalous phenomena, including type green abilities and standard Foundation amnestics. Further testing is needed to find the extent of the subject's resistance.
Profile: Subject was recovered during Alpha Nine's first official mission. His anomalous abilities were first observed by Joseph Greenberg, a type green Alpha Nine was sent to neutralize. He is currently being held pending a decision on whether the Foundation will maintain his containment or release him.
Notes: Subject's youth could potentially be a hindrance in his active deployment. However, his psychological profile shows a strong desire to protect others and an urge to please those around him. He is currently grateful to the Foundation and subject 105 in particular. This could easily be exploited to train him as an asset. As well, he has no active abilities, meaning that non-anomalous means of coercion should remain effective.
Since I've been forced to assess this candidate too, let me state that adding a child soldier to Alpha-9 would be an extremely bad idea. Aside from ethical issues, addition would sink morale, and repeat the mistake of using SCP-105 in Omega-7. Even then, at least SCP-105 requested inclusion in Omega-7. —Director Moose
Director Light's Eyes Only: I'm not certain I'm willing to give up on this one quite yet, but we'll see. —O5-7
STATUS: HOLD
Archive Designation: SCP-2599
Name: Zena Cho
Capabilities: Low-tier reality bender. Full capabilities unknown. Affected by compulsion causing subject to be unable to fully carry out commands. [Pending report from Director Aktus]
Profile: [Pending report from Director Aktus]
Notes: Should not be used as a combat asset due to ease of psychological manipulation.
Another child? See comments on Anomalous Humanoid "Jerry Doe" and SCP-105. —Director Moose
STATUS: HOLD
Archive Designation: SCP-2800
Name: Daniel MacIntyre, aka "Cactusman, the Spiked Menace."
Capabilities: SCP-2800 possesses an expanded genome that contains DNA from the saguaro cactus. SCP-2800 also has many anomalous characteristics that are consistent with the natural physical properties of the Carnegiea gigantea plant, more commonly known as the saguaro cactus:
- The anomalous capacity to instantaneously grow 2-3 cm spines from all surfaces of its body.
- The anomalous capacity to perform crassulacean acid metabolism photosynthesis. SCP-2800 can open pores on its body to function in a manner similar to stomata.
- The anomalous capacity to use water in a hyper-efficient manner. SCP-2800 can subsist on roughly 1/3 the amount of water needed for an average male of its height and build. SCP-2800 produces roughly 1/5 the urea that a normal human of its height, build and diet would normally produce.
- The anomalous capacity to tolerate above average temperatures and above average aridity.
- SCP-2800 possesses an extremely efficient cooling mechanism that prevents it from overheating easily. In addition, SCP-2800 has demonstrated its ability to prevent its skin from drying out.
- Empathic connections with other members of the Cactaceae family.
Profile: SCP-2800 has been diagnosed with several mental disorders, including dysthymia (chronic depression), and hero syndrome. SCP-2800 expresses an extreme desire to assist others, and intervene in situations, even if it is incapable of rendering any form of assistance in such situations. SCP-2800's inability to assist in many situations is believed to have been a cause of its dysthymia. SCP-2800 has expressed frustration in many cases due to its self-perceived inability to provide useful function to others, and has attempted self-harm in the past.
Notes: Subject has both the motivation and the malleability to become a loyal member of the task force. Primary negative concern is that the relatively modest nature of 2800's abilities preclude it from being a useful asset. Field test during a mission in a desert climate is advised.
Director Light's Eyes Only: I like this one, but I also feel a little sad for him. If he died (and he sounds likely to die), it would not be particularly entertaining. Will have to think about that. —O5-7
STATUS: HOLD
Archive Designation: SCP-3988
Name: Sir Wilhelm Feuerherz
Capabilities: SCP-3988 constantly secretes a substance, designated SCP-3988-1, from its skin and all external orifices. SCP-3988-1 is a viscous, transparent orange-brown liquid that displays a number of anomalous properties. Its chemical makeup is highly complex; after analysis, it has been shown to be a mixture containing varying amounts of volatile hydrocarbons including butane and heptane, nitroglycerin, and dozens of other volatile and explosive compounds.
3988-1 serves as fuel for SCP-3988-2, an exoskeleton of paratech combat armor of apparent Renaissance origin that only SCP-3988 can control. Though crude in design, -2 is of high combat effectiveness even compared to modern Prometheus and GOC equivalents.
Profile: SCP-3988 generally remains motionless in its cell and has not been observed to speak unless spoken to. It has been cooperative with Foundation personnel, and has willingly participated in all testing trials, examinations, and interviews.
Notes: 3988 would be a significant combat asset to Alpha-9, and it has expressed pro-Foundation sentiments in its interactions with researchers. That said, it ultimately holds to its own moral code firmly and could disobey or even betray the Foundation if ordered to accomplish a task it considers morally wrong.
STATUS: HOLD
Archive Designation: SCP-2273
Name: Major Alexei Belitrov
Capabilities: SCP-2273 is a humanoid entity believed to be of extra-universal origin that consists of two parts. SCP-2273-1 is believed to be a non-anomalous male human that shares a symbiotic relationship with an anomalous organism, SCP-2273-2. This organism completely covers SCP-2273-1, leaving no epidermis exposed. Notable physical characteristics of SCP-2273-2 are as follows:
- A chitinous carapace that forms a secondary, exterior skeleton.
- Compound-lensed eyes giving SCP-2273-2 approximately a 270° field of vision and approximately 90° of binocular vision.
- Earth-tone coloration visually similar to military forest-pattern camouflage.
- Advanced musculature that integrates with SCP-2273-1's muscular-skeletal system and allows SCP-2273 to carry an estimated 1200 kilograms in addition to its own weight.
- Proboscis similar in function to that of Musca domestica used by SCP-2273-2 to procure nutrients for itself and its host.
- A fully functional organic radio transceiver capable of transmitting both encrypted and unencrypted audio messages over a wide bandwidth.
Profile: SCP-2273 is a veteran of an alternate reality's equivalent of the 8th Occult War, and suffered numerous physical and mental scars during the experience. Initially hostile due to a mistaken belief that the Foundation represented his reality's American military, 2273 currently has a highly positive relationship to the Foundation thanks to the efforts of Dr. Friedrich. Subject displays signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Notes: Unlike the previous candidates, 2273 does not lack for discipline. It is a soldier to the core, and would serve in exchange for the increased privileges that Alpha-9 entails. However, the subject is of advanced age and its neurological afflictions may result in combat delays or deficiencies in the field. Despite this, 2273's physical capabilities and combat effectiveness remain high due to the Carapace.
