Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard American Dollar with smudged markings in red pen around the right edge and seal of the bill. The bill is slightly worn—having been visibly folded in quarters. It has a faint [DATA EXPUNGED]2.

When one comes into contact with SCP-XXXX3 they gradually lose the ability to communicate. This is mostly the result of the obfuscation of vocabulary. Individuals afflicted by SCP-XXXX inadvertently use words in ways that do not match their definitions. These individuals are completely unaware that the word itself is incorrect, even when confronted with their misuse. Additionally, people displaying this vocabulary obfuscation are perfectly able to define the words that are used incorrectly. This schizophasic effect is present in all forms of attempted communication4. MRI scans revealing neurodegeneration of Brocca's area in almost all subjects. However, no significant changes were found in Wernicke's area or the angular gyrus. This suggests no abnormalities in the ability of subjects to understand other people. No two individuals misuse the words exactly the same way and are unable to understand others afflicted5.
