basic concept
piece one: SCP article; robot made by anderson and prometheus labs (potential to change) for AWCY to further their art, steals/ alters emotions and feelings.
piece two: tale; either auction of robot (bartering in abstract concepts) or the retrieval of the robot and the events leading up to it.
the auction leads more to the collaboration of different GOIs, and using concepts like time and emotion is a really interesting concept that i don't think i've seen before on the wiki.
the retrieval could however lead to deeper character connections and dynamics, which could itself hook the reader on futility of the tale. if we take this path, we have to be careful not to add too much exposition to maintain suspense and reader investment.

Title: Is the glass full? or empty?
Material Requirements:
- One CEH (Crystallization Emotion Hooker) - Provided by Anderson Robotics.
- A parrot's brain. - Provided by me.
- A humanoid android body with semi-transparent skin. - Provided by Anderson Robotics
Abstract:
Human emotions are a complex and beautiful phenomenon. A phenomenon that philosophers and scientists cannot grasp or fully explain. But with the help of Anderson Robotics, this beautiful phenomenon can now be stolen.
The piece is a sentient, humanoid android with semi-transparent skin. The android is capable of low-level self morphing and has a default appearance of a featureless human. It has an organic brain installed with a CEH, a device that is capable of obtaining aspects of emotions and storing/using them inside itself. The android will be given the capabilities to comprehend and support identity and emotions.
It will be dropped at a random location and begin to search and stalk multiple people whom it sees expressing strong emotion. Once it has found a subject at a time of vulnerability, it will move in on the subject and absorb one aspect of their emotions by opening its head and activating its CEH. The person will then show total apathy towards the emotion that was stolen and potential triggers to it. Observation has shown no signs of recovery. Attempts at reversal were not and will not be tried.
Subjects usually cannot fit back into their previous social sphere’s with one of their emotions missing, and subsequently go into self-isolation, avoiding family and friends, eating less, and so and so on.
The android will then begin to search for more people to steal different aspects of the emotional spectrum to complete itself. Over time, the emotions held by the CEH begin to degrade and lose their potency, driving the android to attempt to gain more and more emotions to regain it's personality, thus creating and endless cycle of wanting and taking and constantly feeling empty.
Intent:
After years of depression caused by force isolation for being abnormal, I decided to cave in and pretended to be normal. I hated myself for doing it, putting up smiles, showing interest into things I loathed, the food that made my tongue crawl back into my throat, dressing up, dancing, movies, everything I did, I hated it all and I forced myself through it to just fit in.
This made me realize that the harder I tried to emulate other people's emotions it was at the cost of my own. The harder I tried to reject my true self to make myself full, the more I felt empty. I didn’t fit in with society, and I didn’t want to. But I wondered how I could capture this feeling. Emulate the emptiness, the rejection, and put it on display. Show the world just what their society did to them, what it means to not express yourself. As you of all people should know, artists don’t do things in half measures. And so I have one question to ask you. Is the glass empty, or full?
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in storage locker 5 at Storage Site-64.
Subjects affected by SCP-XXXX are to be administered Class-B amenstics and be monitored for any signs of deteriorating mental health.
Description: SCP-XXXX was a sapient android, with a transparent covering capable of speech, that has the logo of GoI-1115(“Anderson Robotics”) engraved on its back. SCP-XXXX had the ability to acquire aspects of the emotion spectrum such as frustration, depression, happiness, etc. It accomplished this via stalking several subjects and assaulting ones that it sees are the most vulnerable. It would then physically hold onto the subject and open its head revealing an unknown luminescent mechanism that will incapacitate the subject for 1 hour. SCP-XXXX would then flee from the scene and become inactive for a random interval of time before repeating the above process.
Subjects assaulted by SCP-XXXX will be incapable to express and respond to triggers of emotions removed by SCP-XXXX and usually find difficulty reintegrating into social groups. All attempts to reverse the effects of SCP-XXXX have failed.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered after several reports of assault by a robot in Bend, Oregon. MTF Gamma-13 ("Asimov's Lawbringers") was dispatched to investigate and found SCP-XXXX following a group of senior civilians. It was later contained and brought into questioning.
Interviewer: Dr. Binkon
Interviewee: SCP-XXXX
Foreword: 10/05/2004. SCP-XXXX was restrained for the safety of Dr. Binkon.
[BEGIN LOG]
Binkon: Good afternoon SCP-XXXX, how are you feeling?
SCP-XXXX is silent.
Binkon: Hm, so how do you like it here?
SCP-XXXX is silent.
Binkon: SCP-XXXX may you please answer my questions?
SCP-XXXX is silent.
Binkon: Okay then, why were you stalking those civilians?
SCP-XXXX: Don't call it stalking, please.
Binkon: Hm, then what were you doing then?
SCP-XXXX: Tell me, what did you eat this morning?
Binkon: Grits, sausage, toast spread with butter and jelly, and a side of milk, like I always do on Tuesdays.
SCP-XXXX: Do you feel regret eating that?
Binkon: I do not.
SCP-XXXX: Lucky you. Now imagine, the only way you can sustain yourself is to mess up people's lives. To look in their face as you drain the things that make them who are they are. Little anxiety there, with some happiness and ambition, and don't forget the depression to top it off. You feel it all too, all of it. And a course you can't stop, no matter how much you want to, you got to keep going or… you'll just die. Everybody needs food to live, right?
Binkon: Well SCP—
SCP-XXXX: [Interrupted] Shut up, I'm not done. No matter how much you take, you'll never be full. You'll always be empty! Always empty. And then you found out your existence is a failure and they just drop you off in front of a dead man's body to roam like this forever until someone comes along and finally kills you.
Binkon: And where did you see that dead body?
SCP-XXXX: Sorry, I don't feel comfortable telling you that.
SCP-XXXX becomes distraught and does not respond to any other questions.
[END LOG]
Addendum.1: 10 days after its first interview, SCP-XXXX showed abnormal behavior and began pacing around its chamber vocalizing the word cool repeatedly. 12 hours after this SCP-XXXX ceased all functions and became unresponsive. SCP-XXXX was transported to an anomalous humanoid coffin and reclassified as neutralized.
Dissection into SCP-XXXX data storage shows its first memories originated in a house located in a rural part of Redmon, Washington. MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") was dispatched and found the decomposing body of PoI-6790, a known member of GoI-45("Are We Cool Yet?") that goes by the name Critic. A bullet wound was found on his head with several notes surrounding his body. Contents are below:
Dear Critic,
Why don't you accept my art? It represents so much, you are just ignorant of the topic. Here are some books to better educate yourself.
[REDACTED]
Dear Critic,
Why am I red-listed? Is it because I tried to help you understand my art, to make you better educated on the topic? You're a jealous hateful man. You're laughing, aren't you? Ever since I first started you always denied my concepts.
What is a man without air? a piece that would remove a person ability to breath, keeping them alive as they struggle to show the importance of breathing and how we are ruing that thanks to society ignorance.
What are siblings? A piece that will force siblings that have a good healthy relationship to fight each other to death. The reaction of the victor will show if their bonds are real or just cheap lies.
What is a newborn? [REDACTED] and ect.
All great works, but you denied them all. But despite all your actions, I will succeed Critic.
Dear Critic,
I spent months and thousands of dollars trying to get a partnership with Anderson Robotics to help me build my latest piece. A piece that will show society the consequences of not being yourself, of always trying to mimic others to fit in. In the end, you always feel empty.
I got the partnership after all my hardships, and then you tell me this isn't art, this is just advertisement! A useless display of mechanics! You will pay dearly for this Critic!
Dear Critic,
After getting your fellow peons together to ban me and blacklist from anartist gatherings, you have released your own demise. Art was my passion, my life and you think you can just take that away from me, without consequences?
When this letter reaches you, you will already be the first one to witness my splendid wonderful art piece. You will finally be able to help me, with your mind being the template of it. Let's see how long you last being empty.
Dear Sebstian Wincraft,
You are a sadistic and disgusting human being who uses their power to torment people in the name of art. I would've banned you sooner if given the chance, and don't get the wrong idea that I denied all your pieces because I was scared that you will surpass us. I denied them because they were all just fetishes you thought of, we have the notebook.
Maybe you should go back to school, so they can tell how pathetic you are too.
Your threats don't frighten me, and they aren't very cool. Come and get me, It won't be my first time dying.
