This reads as a significantly more fun version of the original article. No real complaints here, the focus is tight and it's well executed.
I'm a fan - very strong escalation, fun (read:not series 1) crosslinks and keeps the vibe of the original well. I'm a sucker for that web archive ending too, that's damn clever.

Pretty basic rewrite, all in all, but it's better than the original, I think. The payoff is the same, but it's built up to in a better way.
Is this a rewrite? I think the previous entries in this list have all brought something new to the table, but this strikes me as the exact same article. To that end I feel uncomfortable signing off on it.
I like 649 a lot, very pure rewrite that just takes the orginal and expands it a bit.

I like the new direction a lot, but I think that incorporating historical and horror elements make the piece a bit unfocused and perhaps bloated. Tightening the focus and shaping up the overall structure would be beneficial.
I quite dislike the new direction personally and the redactions/focus on body horror mechanics hurt it. Unlikely to sign off on it.
Honestly, I'm just a big fan. I'm partial to the in-universe rewrite type articles.
I like 031, in universe rewrites are a cool thing that doesn't happen much and gives a piece more leeway in terms of differences

Strong and good article on its own. Very major revision, however it is exactly as DarkStuff described it would be when requesting the article. Further, it is a Little Mister and still fits the initial concept of "Mr. Brass", so I feel this is a special circumstance and am inclined to approve.
This is so different from the original 629 concept, but honestly, like storm said, I'm not opposed to it. It's a much stronger article than the original, but I still hesitate somewhat precisely because it's veers off course so hard, and we have a precedent for not allowing this. I can accept this article being the way that it is, so long as DarkStuff makes some tweaks to return the basic form of Mr. Brass to being more like the "clockwork" nature of the original, so we maintain that at least.
EDIT: In light of the new directive re:rewrite deviation, full steam ahead.

Pretty diverged from the original but overall close.
Did Tim Berners-Lee make this anomaly? Big fan of some of the aesthetics - I didn't realise how much I missed some of those "the purpose of this is unknown" lines. I think this would be stronger without the interview log and end note - don't really work for me. But otherwise pretty interesting.
I really like this one. The overall imagery is creepier than the original, and mixes in the right amount of horror without making it over the top. The interview log actually works well for me, though the note is just fine. Regardless, well done. I know you're reading this Jak, so there ya go.

I don't love this story and how it's changed from the original, but it's an acceptable rewrite. Really don't like how it's slapping me in the face with the story though.
It'd be better if the log was half as long, but it's not really a rewrite without the log.

The logs and characterisation are clunky and wooden. I don't know if it'll survive, but given the stakes I'm fine with approving.

I find the original article to be pretty boring, and this, while not spectacular, is still better than the original. I do think the repetition of "under the sea" is unintentionally hilarious (in a bad way), because I couldn't stop thinking about the Little Mermaid.

I think this version of the rewrite is significantly better than the original one. The anomaly has not been changed, but the presentation and buildup is much improved compared to the first rewrite. Interesting execution of the same themes, and genuinely creepy.

I don't know what it is about people and "my anomaly knows all about the Foundation" but it's a trope I don't love. Also not a huuuuuge fan conceptually of some of the more obvious "This log is spooky to be spooky" parts, but overall not bad. I think it'll do well.

Concurring with storm that there are larger extant issues with this as far as tone and formatting. The whole… stalking of this poor woman doesn't really sit right with me. Makes me feel like I'm supposed to feel sympathy but it doesn't come off well. On one hand, the article does have these issues. On the other hand, I have been in the desert on a horse with no name, so…
Agreeing with what everyone else said. A lot of small issues, and the creepy stalking doesn't play well for me.

I think it gets weaker as it goes on - notably the interviews with 039-A don't really hold my interest. But all in all a solid article and expounds on the original.
It's acceptable. I think it's about twice as long as it needs to be, and the journals do nothing to hold my interest or really give me all that much new information, so I think they could be significantly trimmed down. However, elements of the interview are solid (though 100 bucks a month on food seems absurdly low for a Foundation researcher and took me right out of the narrative), and the ending line was a nice way to finish it off. I'd like it a lot more if the focus were tighter and the journals didn't have that same lackadaisical tone that so many other articles do, but it'll probably survive.
