Item #: SCP-4385
Object Class: Euclid Neutralized (See Addendum 4385-B)
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4385-1 is to be held in a standard humanoid containment cell, furnished with a basic single-sized bed and bathroom.
SCP-4385-1 is to be fed 1 kilogram of meat once every 72 hours and provided with 1 kilogram of bone-tissue at a minimum of twice daily. All carvings produced by SCP-4385-1 are to be confiscated for research upon the conclusion of the ritual.
Entrance into SCP-4385-1's cell is currently prohibited. (See addendum 4385-A)
SCP-4385-2 is to be held in the Secure Vehicles Storage Facility in Site-77. Access requires Level-2 Clearance and written approval from Level-3 personnel or higher.
SCP-4385's location has been unknown for █ years. As such, no containment procedures are needed as SCP-4385 is assumed to be neutralized.
Description: SCP-4385-1 is a sapient, humanoid entity of extraterrestrial origin of unknown origin. The entity primarily composed of bone-tissue, keratin, and cartilage. It is aware of its surroundings despite lacking sensory organs and communicates by producing a luminous yellow residue from its forefinger, used to illustrate symbols. The residue will decompose within 2-5 minutes, necessitating photographic documentation1. Identical symbols are noted to be carved over roughly 60% of SCP-4385's body. Attempts to educate SCP-XXXX sign language have succeeded, but have been discontinued since its assumed neutralization.
SCP-4385-1 stands at a height of 1.75 meters and weighs 52.7 kilograms. It is primarily bipedal and has four additional appendages attached at the upper and lower thoracic spinal curve. Its lowermost appendages end in sharpened claw-like blades. Observation shows that SCP-4385-1 often utilizes its uppermost appendages for leisurely purposes2, while using its lower appendages for whittling and carving bone-matter into presumably religious paraphernalia.
SCP-4385-1 does not possess several common internal organ systems, with the exception of an orifice at the epicenter of its chest cavity, attaching to a fully operational digestion system. Alongside basic uses, SCP-4385-1 can also consume inanimate bone-tissue and regurgitate it as a malleable clay-like substance, which is more easily molded into various forms.
Once every 12 hours, SCP-4385-1 will begin emitting a low, ambient hum for approximately 8 minutes, after which time it will begin to carve various, seemingly religious objects out of bone-tissue, and place them in a semicircle around itself. Each artifact is subsequently "marked" by carving a single glyph into them. For several minutes after completing the semicircle, the symbols covering SCP-4385-1's body will glow a deep yellow color. Following this, SCP-4385-1 will begin to coat the largest artifact it has recently carved in a more cohesive form of the residue which it uses to communicate. Several minutes after coating the artifact, the luminous glow will fade, and the residue will become irremovable by any means.
SCP-4385-2 is an ovoid object roughly 4m X 2m in surface area and layered in a chitinous shell similar in composition to SCP-4385-1's residue in its dried state. The upper dome of the object is folded back, underneath which is a layering of quartz glass. SCP-4385-2 is hollow, with the inner walls coated in a viscous brown substance. Several pillars of solidified residue are visible along the inner walls. At the object's aft portion is a pedestal composed of the identical material as the outer shell.
Addendum 4385-A: On █/██/20██, at the conclusion of testing, SCP-4385-1 began producing extensive amounts of its residue, and proceeded to seal the entrance of its cell shut with Jr. Researcher Jameson still inside. SCP-4385-1 then began performing it's a daily ritual, until reaching the glowing stage. Several carvings along the rim of SCP-4385-1's chest cavity emitted a brighter glow, before proceeding to pierce Jameson's rib-cage, lifting him off of the ground. Following this, Jameson began convulsing violently, before becoming limp. Jameson's eyes began emitting a dull red glow, as well as emitting unintelligible noises. SCP-4385-1 dropped Jameson to the floor and retreated to the far corner of the room.
Following the incident, Jameson was retrieved from the containment cell and brought to the medical wing. Jameson recovered the following week and requested to be relocated. An interview with Jameson goes as follows.
Date: 12/8/20██
Interviewee: Jr. Researcher Jameson
Interviewer: Dr. ███
[BEGIN LOG]
Dr. ███: Let's begin, then. Can you tell me what provoked SCP-4385? Or perhaps why you remained after the rest of the researchers had exited the cell?
Jameson: I… I thought I heard it say something.
Dr. ███: SCP-4385 has not displayed any capability to emit sounds for communication.
Jameson: Doesn't mean it can't. I swear I heard it say something.
Dr. ███: Once again, SCP-4385 cannot produce audible sounds.
Jameson: Once again, that's never been proven! That thing picked me up and stabbed me in my chest!
Dr. ███: The entity attacked you then.
Jameson, pinching the bridge of his nose in what is assumed to be frustration: Really, Sherlock?.
Jameson sighs, rubbing his forehead. Twelve seconds of silence pass as Dr ███ writes down in his clipboard.
Jameson: That's not all it did.
Dr. ███, looking up at Jameson: Can you elaborate?
Jameson: When it attacked me, I started to see things. I saw lots of bright lights, kind of like how it looks when you rub your eyes too hard, but with more colors. I saw some kind of big, dark orb. I can't really explain, it was too much to take in at the time, y'know? I don't know, talk to it, you guys are supposed to be teaching it 'sign language' or something, right?
Dr. ███: That is correct.
Jameson: Can I go now? My head is fucking killing me. I don't remember much.

Addendum 4385-B:
DATE: █/█/20██
NOTE: Jr. Researcher Jameson went to SCP-4385's containment cell and began to communicate with the entity. Everything was recorded via a security camera in SCP-XXXX's containment cell. It is to be noted that the interview was conducted in sign language.
[BEGIN LOG]
Jameson enters SCP-XXXX's containment cell. SCP-XXXX, despite not having eyes, looks in Jameson's direction. The entity and Jameson maintain "eye contact" for fourteen seconds. SCP-XXXX vocalizes.
SCP-XXXX: What do you seek?
Jameson takes a step back, in presumed surprise.
Jameson: You can talk in sign language?
SCP-XXXX: Yes.
Jameson: Well, that makes this a whole bunch easier. I was gonna use a gun on you. Now, I'm not supposed to be here, so let's make this quick, yes?
SCP-XXXX: Very well.
Jameson: Now, uh, the first question. It's a kinda stupid question but, right, so, why are you here? Think of this as an interview. You're a celebrity and I'm the host.
SCP-XXXX: I come from [LOCATION REDACTED]. I am a religious deity. In essence, my only purpose here is to convert you to my religion.
Jameson: You sound like a boring celebrity. Anyways, next question. Well. What's with the bone chunks? Using them to write on with that yellow goop?
SCP-XXXX: It is a ritual. But, I cannot return to my home. The problem is the ritual uses memories as fuel. Sentimental ones, in particular. Those ones give more "fuel".
Jameson: So, you're stuck here?
SCP-XXXX: Correct. Unless I use someone else's memories, I remain here until I find a solution.
Jameson: What does it cost? How many memories?
SCP-XXXX: More than I presumed. I used too many when I traveled here, and I do not have enough to return.
Jameson: Do you want to go back?
SCP-XXXX: I'm not sure. Maybe they all died. I no longer sense their presence when I focus on it, no matter how hard I try.
Jameson: You can use my memories.
SCP-XXXX: No. I have tried to do so when I impaled you. I took some, but not enough. You've already forgotten some things, I presume.
Jameson: I figured it was you. It's why I'm here. I wanted answers and I got them.
SCP-XXXX: If you help me, I will help you. You do not enjoy your job, do you? It consumes your morality. I can help you with that. It's my debt to you.
Jameson: I don't know. What if they kill me?
SCP-XXXX: Then I'll reincarnate you with [RITUAL REDACTED] at [LOCATION REDACTED].
Jameson: I don't know if I want to be an alien.
SCP-XXXX: Trust me.
