I Implore You, Look No Further Into The Matter

Harbinger: I speak this in earnest to reach out to those select few left who are privy to the knowledge contained in the now-expunged above documentation.

Harbinger: Surrounding me are the bodies of my colleagues who understood what had occurred and knew that our existence was forfeit as soon as the rift opened.

Harbinger: We are the only ones left now who know a potential solution. Though perhaps you haven't yet realized what that would be, in which case I'll try to explain the ultimatum presented to us.

Harbinger: To begin, you must first understand that the SCP Foundation has an insatiable lust for knowledge despite the risks that may follow, and information has a nasty habit of dissemination.

Harbinger: Such distribution is dangerous because of the continued existence of those in power with selfish needs not able to consider sacrificing themselves for the greater good.

Harbinger: But I know that anybody able to hold a position on the Council would command enough power to succeed such travesties of humankind.

Harbinger: I would hope that those who had the tenacity to reach a rank high enough to have access to the lost documentation would have the same ability.

Harbinger: Many in this room have proven their worth to me, now you must do so as well. Information dies with the death of the holder, there's no way around that fact.

Harbinger: The call of destiny is often misleading, I described before that Dimension 35190 was different than the other victims. What I have come to understand is that we ride a razor's edge between what I called Harbinger's destiny and just being another one standing before a firing squad.

Harbinger: I do not know what specific action must be avoided to prevent an intolerable future for the other written dimensions, but I know that if nobody knows what is happening, then we have a chance at preventing such action from being considered in the first place.

Harbinger: What happens now is out of the control of my actions and left up to you and the words I am etching into your mind. Are you a slave to the whims of greed, or a man—able to choose for the betterment of others.

Harbinger: So go now and die alongside me. I have worked here for many years, and I know the others will stop at nothing to figure out what we know.

Harbinger: And remember that we do this to secure, contain, and protect.
