Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept with in a standard humanoid containment cell. All interviews and testing involving the entity must be approved by two Level 4 personnel. Description: SCP-XXXX is a 24 year-old [FILL IN] male formerly named Fillername McProcrastination. SCP-XXXX has the ability to see infrared light. SCP-XXXX claims to have had this ability since birth and has no degree of control over it. SCP-XXXX's abilities manifest in its capability to tell the approximate temperature of objects through sight alone. The effect is limited as it can only detect hot objects. SCP-XXXX claims cold and neutral objects are indistinguishable.

Foreword: On 3/12/2019, a meeting was held after several researchers questioned if the ability of SCP-XXXX was truly anomalous in nature. Below is a transcript of the meeting held.

Senior Researcher Day: Okay, are we all here?

Senior Researcher Cole: I believe so.

Senior Researcher Day: I believe all of you have been debriefed on the purpose of this meeting, am I correct?

[A couple of yeses are heard from the room.]

Senior Researcher Day: Good let's begin, Researcher Baker, you are up to speak first.

Researcher Baker: Alright, thank you very much for this opportunity to speak. I say that SCP-XXXX formerly known as, (Name), is not anomalous but, rather a genetic mutant. I believe this due to new research suggesting that humans, under certain conditions, are able to detect infrared light.

Senior Researcher Cole: Under what conditions would a person have to be in for them to see infrared. Anyways people don't see it in everyday life.

Researcher Baker: Well I mean, of course not your average person but-
