Stacker's Coffeehouse and Bar Hub

All voices are welcome!

Welcome to Stacker’s.
The tables are full of reprobates.
The floor is full of dirt.
Undeniably, the drinks here happen to be quite terrible.

Not everything here is perfect.
Not everything here is grand.
Everything simply is.
Such is the nature of finding one’s voice.
Such is the nature of learning to walk.

Occasionally, the drinks here happen to be quite alright, too.
The floor is lined with silver.
The tables are lined with dreamers.
Welcome to Open Mic Night.

All voices are welcome.

Just make sure to have a good time.

Guidelines for Open Mic Night Entries

Open Mic Night at Stacker's is a celebration of narration, poetry, and audio! Here you can have your favorite SCP recite a poem, your original character sing a song, or your author insert cry their guts out! Anything is possible!

1. Before beginning your piece, you need a four-line narrative opening.

The first line should be:

> Open Mic Night at Stacker's THURSDAYS 10:00

The fourth line should be: "I offer this (poem in my own voice.)" Anything at all may go in the parenthesis. This line may be included in the audio, if audio is present.

2. In between two line blocks is the meat of the tale, the piece itself. Present it however you like! Just text? With audio? With format screws? Up to you!

3. After your piece, there should be a four-line ending narrative, with the fourth line being: "'Til next week."

4. Narratives can be anything you want, as long as the ritual narration and phrases are included.

5. Have fun!
