I worked at the foundation for a little under a year and I've already come obsessed with an SCP, but then that SCP rejected my offers and actively tried to push me away. Now I am obsessed with an inanimate SCP; SCP 500, the Panacea. I knew it was impossible to reproduce it and what they're doing is currently the best situation. but I believe that, soon enough, we're going to run out and SCP 500 will be effectively neutralized. Not if I have anything to say about it. With the 30 some odd pills we have left I will make it my duty to find a way to replicate it. Eric and Dan agree with me and they have decided to help as well, whether it's to get me to shut up about it is not my concern But I do know one thing, the more the Merrier. Eric is an MTF Lieutenant attempting to reach the position of red-right-hand officer, Unfortunately, due to his… OUR anomalous properties we are not allowed to go near the 05. Daniel is a D Class who, despite being here for over 8 months, is still here due to the anomalous property he… WE have. Despite this, he knows many of the people he's been around and is generally a nice guy ( it probably helped that he was innocent to begin with). he's also attempting a doctorate, which is probably one of the reasons why he is trying to help me. Whatever the case might be I need to quit my current position as a researcher for SCP 914.
I got a message from the O5 Council stating that they've heard the rumors that I was attempting to replicate Panacea via anomalous mean ( which was semi-true) and told me that they were interested to see if I could do it, it sounded more professional but it basically boiled down to “if you can do it then we have infinite Panacea, if not, oh well, now we know it doesn't work”. When asking how they knew about this I learned that dr. Veritas was raiding my room And found my notes on how to develop Panacea. Clearly, he took an interest, else I would not be speaking to the 05’s. They also told me I would be effectively enacting my plans tomorrow, Transport will be provided and I will also be provided 10 pills of Panacea for testing use only. in other words, I would never actually see them unless at the discretion of the 05. I agreed to their terms and I began to pack my stuff.

Day 1/1 3:15 PM: I have finally gotten clearance to perform this test, This one will involve SCP-049 and SCP 500. If all goes well we should gain more knowledge about Panacea than we already know and, if we're lucky, a way to replicate it. this will take heavy charisma to convinced the plague doctor that this isn't snake-oil and we need an actual sample of SCP 500 to make sure that he doesn't think it's snake oil. The best way I could prove this is for myself to get shot in the stomach and then taking the pill before I die. of course I could just use the excuse of the pestilence but there's a chance that I may not have the pestilence or Panacea doesn't actually cure the pestilence, Similar to the malachor in Greedfall. whatever the case I'll be healed from a bullet wound. I have two pills of Panacea in my hand but they're only for me to use for testing purposes, let the Quest for Panacea begin.
Day 1/2 4:56 PM: since testing with the plague doctor will be playing the long game I'm going to have to figure out another way to obtain Panacea, and my mind immediately flickered to SCP-606, That big ball light has to learn something about Panacea after all it's been through. but then I realized doctor mayors notice, it may be malevolent. However, I'm sure it's possible that it can “enlighten” people on specific topics. If not oh well, it will just be another D class in the flesh pits.
Day 1/3 6:30 PM: why haven't I guessed this sooner, why waste our time with the plague doctor and the teacher when we can contact a book, specifically SCP 1230. The bookkeeper has extensive knowledge on fantasy and whatnot, Why not medical science; and it's possible to communicate to him without going through a dream state. All I need do is read it, slip a sticky note asking for his help in finding Panacea, and go to sleep, maybe have a team with me. If all goes well we could figure out if this guy can handle multiple people at Once and possibly extend our knowledge in medicine. after all, we can stay there for 200 years without dying. I guess I'll be seeing all of you in 24 hours, from your point of view.
Day 2 ( day 176 for me): After spending almost half a year in a dream state I have gotten a lot of Medical knowledge and so have the two linked men. Due to our sort of hive mind we woke up at the same time, I haven't checked the clock yet but I know I will be coming back to the bookkeeper to do more research. So it turns out yes, you can have multiple people enter SCP-1230, But the bookkeeper states that it's tiring keeping them all In the world at the same time. My theory is that for each one person that enters the time to stay is split in half, if there are four people time split into quarters, three people thirds, and so on. If my memory serves when we first entered we all entered at the same time, we spawned In the library that was seemingly endless, and the bookkeeper in his classic Emerald wizard robe with a big grin on its face. He said “ welcome to the future of Medicine… education. Almost all of these books are full of the medical knowledge I was able to siphon all these years. it's how I was able to make health potions more accurate so someone who wants to figure out how they work. it's not all medicine mind you, I have some other books to keep you preoccupied in case you get bored of researching”. Shortly after we began walking towards the library the bookkeeper pulled me aside and said “ I really appreciate you suggesting this idea, I never thought about using my powers to benefit your real world in real ways. if you or any other person is having troubles and needs extra time solving it then let me know, I'll do my best to help”. I kindly think him and went on my way. I genuinely believe I just made his day by helping him see his more practical side. One day this SCP could be a thaumiel, I just realized. If he can help us with 682 by recreating a containment breach then surely he could have a great impact on training to come. Around day 11 I shoved it away in my mind for later and focused on researching, and by researching, I mean wondering while my doctorate-attempting buddy researches at full compassion While me and Eric absorbed the information. During my exploration, I realized that this place wasn't endless, just very large. I also realized that the very back was an exact replica of SCP 1230, I opened it and went to sleep inside the dream ( normal body functions are intact during the dream) I woke up in Skyrim in my three draganears universe. Acted similarly to SCP 423 and was mainly an onlooker, occasionally interacting with the characters. After around 2 days of watching, I ended up teleporting back to the original Dream. the bookkeeper was quite happy and offered to teleport me back to my friends, I accepted and began researching myself. After what I felt like was an eternity I woke up for real and because Eric and Dan are linked they woke up as well. I guess it's time to start my second test, scp-049… After a day off to make sure everyone else is out and ready. If you're wondering I was asleep for 1.4 hours.
In summary I currently have: scp-049, scp-606, and scp-1230.
