The entrance to SCP-XXXX

Special Containment Procedures: Since the structure at ███ ████████ is a New York City landmark, vacation and evacuation of the premise have been dubbed unnecessary, due to the fact that condemning a historical landmark within the densely populated confines of southern Manhattan would require a cover story and explanation that far outweigh any benefits of condemnation.

No less than two foundation personnel, imbedded under the guise of Woolworth janitorial staff are to be stationed in office #██ on the 13th floor of the building (Hereafter designated "Site-XXXX-A1"). No non-foundation personnel are to be permitted access to SCP-XXXX at any time. No experiments involving SCP-XXXX and or exploration of SCP-XXXX are to be conducted, unless at least two personnel with clearance of level three or higher explicitly request otherwise.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a two-way trans-universal closed-door anomaly contained within one of the two janitorial storerooms on the 13th floor of the Woolworth building in New York City. Anomalous properties manifest at 22:35 on any day between the dates of June 25th and September 14th.

If a subject(s) is made to enter the storeroom on an appropriate date and SCP-XXXX's door is closed, the room will appear entirely non-anomalous. However, at the moment the time reads 22:35, the subject(s) along with all materials in the subject(s) possession, vanish. Approximately thirty seconds after the subject(s) disappearance, they will re-manifest in the same location, however in a universe (henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-1) drastically different from our own. If any subject who was not conceived within SCP-XXXX-1 dies within SCP-XXXX-1, they will disparate from SCP-XXXX-1 and reappear thirty seconds later within SCP-XXXX. it is presumed that this does not apply in the same way to entity's that did not enter through
SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX-1 appears to have suffered a K-Class scenario at some point in the year 1994 which ultimately led to an SK-Class Dominance Shift Scenario. ultimately leading to a global collapse of human civilization and a reversion of surviving humans back to a hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

As discovered in "Exploration log-2" all forms of visual record including both digital and contemporary photography, and all forms of video record, are rendered inoperable with all related files appearing corrupted and all photo negatives appearing extremely overexposed. While it is possible to broadcast audiovisual data out of SCP-XXXX-1 it is not possible to record in any way, including, as shown in the aforementioned exploration log, having a camera record a monitor that is receiving live video. Audio data does not seem to be affected.

Addendum SCP-XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX was discovered on ██-█-202█ after covert operatives belonging to MTF Iota-10 ("Damn Feds") embedded within the New York Police Department reported the strange circumstances surrounding the death of ██████ ████; a janitor working at the Woolworth building. Mr. ████ was reported missing on the ██th after being seen entering janitorial store room #██. A thorough initial search of the storeroom by NYPD officers had come up empty-handed. However, three days later a 911 call was received about the mangled corpse of Mr. ████ having spontaneously appeared in the storeroom. The foundation stepped in and administered Class B amnestics. a coverup story was created stating that the body of ██████ ████ was never found and that the case has since gone cold. the door leading to SCP-XXXX has had warning labels installed reading "WARNING! HIGH-PRESSURE GAS LINES!" and "Authorized personnel only!"

Addendum SCP-XXXX-2: contained within this addendum are exploration logs from the five exploration attempts so far, because of the absence of recorded video and images, in all exploration logs post log 2, subjects are asked to give detail on objects and scenery to provide as clear an image as possible.

FIELD KIT: one shoulder-mounted camera with respective SD card.

NOTE: D-14853 rematerializes within SCP-XXXX, 2 hours 15 minutes and 45 seconds after exodus, deceased. Having suffered multiple (presumed) bight marks on forearms and neck from an entity(s) possessing five jaw dentition, as well as three broken ribs, a fractured ulna, and blunt force trauma to the back of the head. camera intact and still recording. SD card removed and contents reviewed: all files display static with all visual data corrupted beyond repair, audio data plays as normal.

22:36 Audio begins with a pop, subject expresses surprise for his circumstances, shuffling is heard as subject presumably attempts to find his bearings. Subject complains to himself about "not knowing what to do."

(the following 1 hour 42 minutes and 13 seconds, have been omitted due to lack of notable occurrences)

00:18 An extremely loud, guttural screeching noise is audible in the distance, subject begins to panic, subject's footsteps are heard increasing in pace.

00:26 The same screeching sound can be heard, apparently closer now.

00:32 Once more the screeching sound is audible, this time emanating from multiple points all of which appear to be nearby.

00:47 Subject begins to make sounds of distress, and a high-pitched choking sound is heard. subject begins to run and screams as a wet slapping sound is heard to subject's immediate right. subject continues to flee, very obviously panicked, as more wet sounds are heard behind him, increasing in frequency.

00:50 subject yelps and is heard falling over onto the ground, a soft purring and a nasal screech are heard, immediately followed by the sound of bones crunching and wet sucking noises.

00:51 Subject rematerializes within SCP_XXXX.

  DATE: 29-7-2020

  SUBJECT: D-19403 & D-5648

  FIELD KIT: (With the exception of recording apparatus given to D-19403, field kits are identical for both subjects) One high energy air pistol with 20 rubber bullets, one ultra-bright LED headlamp, one two way radio communications system, and for D-19403 a forehead mounted camera, as well as a fifteen exposure disposable film camera for testing purposes.

  NOTE: The camera given to D-19403 is capable of streaming live audio/visual data to a terminal within Site-XXXX-A1, as well as recording data on an embedded SD card. Upon recovery of subjects, the camera was non-functional, however, the SD card was intact. When the SD card was examined, all audio files worked as expected, however, as with exploration log-1, video data was corrupted. Data taken from the live-streamed footage saved through Foundation screen recording software was corrupted in a similar manner as well.

  Analyzing the fifteen exposure camera, three photos were taken, all of which are rendered useless due to extrema overexposure.

  This Log is a transcript of audio recording, as well as a description of events provided by Dr. ████, the researcher in charge of maintaining communication with subjects.

  [BEGIN LOG]

  Subjects D-19403 & D-5648 (henceforth referred to as D1 and D2 respectively) dematerialize from SCP-XXXX at 22:35 EST.

  The camera turns on and D1 looks around at a room, identical in design to SCP-XXXX however appearing severely dilapidated, D2 is seen in the corner looking down at a fleshy, green protuberance wedged inside of a crack in one of the walls. D1 initiates a radio test, asking "Is this thing working?" Dr. ████ responds "Yes, we can hear you on our end." followed by 10 seconds of silence and then Dr. ████ follows up with "Please find a way to exit the building."

  D1 and D2 both proceed to exit the closet and begin down a corridor, to a flight of stairs. Subjects descend stairs for six minutes and exit stairwell into main foyer of the building's lobby. large slabs of veined marble lay shattered on the floor, apparently having been dislodged from the vaulted ceiling, D1 looks up to assess the damage to the ceiling and discovers many thick, orange, vine-like growths embedded within the ceiling. Dr. ████ asks D1 to zoom in on the growths, which upon close examination appear to have insectoid legs used as anchors to hold them in place.

  Subjects are instructed to continue through lobby, subjects proceed to the grand staircase exit (which is the entrance that D-class are brought into building through) and discover that the grand staircase leading to the exit has been crushed by an apparent cave in and is unreachable. subjects proceed to exit on other side of lobby and find that the doors to the building have been ripped off their hinges and lay approximately five meters away, subjects exit building onto Barclay St.

  D2 calls to D1 pointing out a car, the car is a 1991 █████ ████, which shows signs of advanced age, consistent with environment around it, the front windshield has been smashed in and the bonnet is heavily dented. A brownish-red substance, later determined to be blood, coats the edges of the hole in the windshield and the hood of the car. D1 expresses fearful disgust at the sight of the car.

  Subjects instructed to wait until morning for further instruction, subjects protest instructions and are reminded that failing to follow instructions would result in their own termination, subjects reluctantly comply and set up a small camp, both subjects wait until morning, without incident.

  Subjects instructed to move down Barclay St. and walk south down Broadway. subjects begin to walk, D2 calls to D1 telling him to look at something, camera pans across skyline and the buildings of the old World Trade Center are visible just behind the Woolworth building, Which is itself missing 1/3 of its height. the city is severely dilapidated, building appearing to have been abandoned for decades with fauna growing through windows and holes in building facades. subject D1 contacts site and asks Dr. ████ "did you people send us, like, back in time or something?" Dr. ████ responds in the negative but says that he is unsure of where the subjects have been sent.

  camera pans back across the skyline and a large green mass with glowing orange pustular growths is seen attached to the top half of ██ ██████. the mass then begins to pulsate and emits a sound similar to a fog horn. the mass begins to rapidly compress before springing back to its former shape, as it does so it emits an orange cloud that begins rapidly moving down toward the street below,

  subjects are instructed to continue down the street, subjects protest and begin to return, subjects are reminded of the consequences that will follow protest, however are unperturbed. upon reaching the entrance of the building, a glowing orange mass, presumably, the cloud emitted by the green mass is seen poring out of windows and alleyways rushing towards subjects.

  camera feed is cut off followed by audio a moment later, subjects re materialize forty two minuets later within SCP-XXXX having suffered multiple abrasions all across their bodies as well as severe to the interior lining of the mouth, trachea, and lungs.

  hundreds of 2mm long insectoid creatures were found imbedded within lacerations, these insects possess eight pares of legs, two wings, a glowing green abdomen, and a razor sharp crescent shaped horn positioned laterally along the head of the organism. the creatures were discovered feeding on subjects blood by attaching mouthparts to the severed ends of veins. (subjects and all entites found on and in subjects stored in biological containment at Site ██)

hi msg board thingy

hello this is me Ohohih talking to you using advanced tech. i figured we could use this tab as a memo/msg board thing. can u tell me a timeline/where you plan to take this story. which characters you want to introduce. really any ideas you have. what pictures you want recovered. anything and everything. i would like to write a log. i just want the whole picture. thank you zappy :)

Oh this is perfect! ok so i think you know the basic idea already, so the event i was planning having destroy the world was "in mid 1994 the GOC discover an object floating in a natural vacuum chamber deep under the ground in Canada, this object absorbs all energy perfectly and converts 100% of energy that comes into contact with it into heat, so in theory you could take this object and put it in sun light for 20 minutes and melt half of California. the GOC realizing its potential as a superweapon decide to destroy it. however this object was a sort of universal anchor, keeping the universe from crashing into other universes, and when they destroy it it caused weird stuff to happen. i just finished exploration log 2 and i think that for the rest of the logs we can have MTFs go in and collects things like newspapers, floppy disks, journals and other crap like that, i don't know about characters outside of those MTfs but we can discuss that later. thank you once again for all that you are doing for me, if you need anything from me on one of your projects just ask

yeah you can wright a report lol. also yes you cant record anything but the sound, but you can see the video if it is live. i wanted to ask; do you have o phone number or discord, so we can talk in a more efficient manor?
