Special Containment Procedures
SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a 5x5x5 meter concrete containment cell reinforced with ████. The door to SCP-XXXX's containment cell is to be no less than 5 inches thick and made from high-carbon steel. In the event of a containment breach smoke is to be released into the ventilation system of the immediate area where SCP-XXXX is contained, under no circumstances are SCP-XXXX instances to be allowed to find a host. In the event of SCP-XXXX successfully finding a host chlorine gas is to be placed within the ventilation system and all personnel are to follow standard evacuation procedures.
Description
SCP-XXXX is a group of 271 hornets of an unknown species initially located in [REDACTED], Russia. Each instance of SCP - XXXX has a length of 8.3 to 10.7 centimeters and a weight of 31 to 39 grams. SCP - XXXX appears to have no anomalous defense mechanisms. SCP - XXXX, like most insects, appears to be extremely susceptible to smoke unless in possession of a host body.
SCP - XXXX has proven to be capable of breaching containment on multiple occasions. SCP - XXXX gains control of a potential host by attaching itself to the base of its victim’s brain stem. After this process is complete the host is now to be referred to as SCP - XXXX - 1. SCP XXXX - 1 instances appear to gain increased strength, speed, stamina, and elevated pain tolerance. Testing indicates that SCP - XXXX - 1 instances are capable of running at a top speed of [REDACTED] miles per hour for sustained periods.
SCP - XXXX only has been seen to show aggressive behavior when a human enters a 5-meter radius of XXXX’s hive. SCP - 4726 will use exclusively humans as hosts. When a non-human entity enters the 5-meter radius XXXX fails to react unless provoked.
Testing involving placing contained XXXX - 1 instances in medically induced comas is proving to be an effective method of allowing SCP XXXX to be removed with ease. Once SCP XXXX has been removed subjects often recover within 1 - 3 weeks however permanent damage can be inflicted if SCP XXXX is attached for extended periods.
Following Incident ████-█ testing of SCP-XXXX is to be discontinued without authorization from at least two Level 4 personnel.
