Special Containment Procedures:SCP-4857 is kept in a titanium-layered room. The room is 24.9×24.9×24.9 meters. Which has a realistic lighting with a day-night cycle. After incident-██, "Arachnophobia" is to be never left alone with less then three guards ever again. These guards are armed with VERY powerful weaponry including one of them being an anti-tank missile. Its containment cell is also very heavily watched via security cameras.
"Arachnophobia" will be in a calm state until agitated so to soothe the deadly "spider" the foundation researchers play old classical piano music over the intercom system which has the same effect on its own brain as it would a humans. "Arachnophobia" is quite sensitive to very hot and cold temperatures so its cell is to be kept at a moderate temperature.
Description: SCP-4857 is 3.8 meters tall, 4.7 meters in length and is 2.3 meters around the biggest part of its abdomen. The spider-like being is a dark black color with a few reddish skin marks on its lower abdomen. Its very potent venom could kill a full-grown healthy male in less then 4 minutes and there is no known cure.
The reason behind the guards being armed with such weaponry is that "Arachnophobia"
can regenerate lost limbs, organs, etc. But one weakspot of "Arachnophobia" is that it can only regenerate every 4 hours so if it has been shot a considerable amount of times it will go into a deep
coma state and will not wake up until vital organs have been regenerated.
It is actually mostly nocturnal and eats at night. Foundation personnel feed it a live deer or cow every 2-3 weeks. "Arachnophobia" entraps its deceased prey in a web substance that is emitted from its lower-backside abdomen. The webbish substance holds up to [REDACTED] weight. "Arachnophobia" has a mutated mouth that has three separate jaws, each one has many tiny serrated teeth which contain its potent venom. It has no eyes which is unlike any spider but has enhanced hearing and smelling.
"Arachnophobia" has crab like claw hands on its two front "legs" and will proceed to reach out towards its prey and grab them, these arms are 1.8 meters long. Like a normal spider it can crawl on the ceiling and on the walls and even hang upside down from its webs.
"Arachnophobia" is usually at peace, but when it is disturbed it will become highly aggressive to any vibrations or loud sounds it feels or hears. It has hairs all over its body that help detect vibration very easily. If "Arachnophobia" bites you you will probably bleed out before the venom kills you, but if you do survive the initial bite you will die from the extremely potent venom.
Addendum:Once its victim is deceased it will wrap it up in webs and save it for later by keeping the deer or cow in a cave of webs in the far left coroner of the cell. Which means after a while many corpses build up and start stinking up the the containment cell. Foundation staff then send D-class personnel to "clean" up the corpses. When they send in D-class to clean, "Arachnophobia" is transported out of its cell into Cell-██.
After its transported back to its cell, it becomes agitated once it sees all of the corpses are gone. That causes it to become angry and it tries to escape and break the out of its container, because of its agitation alone it has escaped ██ times. After that, a new method of cleaning has been instituted.
"Arachnophobia" was discoverd in [Data Expunged] on █/█/19█.There were reports of people gone missing and sometimes these peoples corpses were found in large caves before the spider-like being consumed them but they all had the same bite marks from it. The cause of death was always from blood loss or venom in the bloodstream.
When the SCP Foundation captured "Arachnophobia" they administered anesthetics to all the people of the small town. After "Arachnophobia " was captured it was sent to Site-█ for studying. While on the trip to Site-█ it [Data Redacted] its container and ripped half the foundation guards limb from limb and then [Data Expunged] them. "Arachnophobia" was then shot ██ times and was shot with an anti-tank missile █ times which seemed to subdue it.
During the autopsy "Arachnophobia" awoke from its coma and slaughtered the researchers. It was later contained in its current cell. When it becomes agitated it will repeatedly ram itself into the containment door and beat the door with its crab hands.
Its hands are made from a special mineral called ████ and it is not terrestrial meaning its hands can tear through almost any type of material making it almost impossible to contain.
