Special Containment Procedures: Currently assigned to Site-19, SCP-5172 should be continuously worn by any site personnel of clearance level 3 or higher who is proven of or suspected to being recently exposed to lasting hazardous effects whether induced by site-contianed SCP objects or natural environment. SCP-5172 could also be used for transporting or recontaining humanoid SCP objects, though only if approved by site superiors.
Description: SCP-5172 is a lab coat which exact appearance and size depends on who is currently possessing it. While worn by a humanoid creature of any origin (thereafter: host), SCP-5172 completely suppresses host's inborn anomalous properties (if any) and disrupts all lasting external anomalous influences affecting the host. SCP-5172 is also capable of negating non-anomalous afflictions such as severe mental disorders, psychoactive substances intoxication and implications of common mental warfare techniques. SCP-5172's effects on long-lasting or inborn anomalies and afflictions are temporary and last only while the host wears it, retaining for a short period when not worn if the last host is still in formal ownership of the SCP-5172. However, any mind-affecting influences, anomalous or otherwise, which came in effect shortly before subjected person has declared (or re-declared) an ownership of SCP-5172 and put it on, are gone permanently.
